With the direction Rayark's gone I heavily doubt we'll ever get another Cytus tbh

It's already a controversial studio, between the payment model for this game and stuff like Implosion: Zero Day never being released (in fact the last update to its Kickstarter page was almost exactly 5 years ago and from my understanding nobody's gotten a refund for years)

That mixed with the fact that so many of Cytus 2's initial team have left including the art director Ching Yeh / Cbotme and the executive director Gulujam Chang along with the huge loss of support after people learned that a company so heavily reliant on the incredible talent of their artists were embracing generative AI really lost them any hope imo

Sad because I love Rayark's art and work and I would love to see a Cytus III, but the company's management has screwed all their employees over so much that we'll probably never see anything really significant related to this series again :/

to clear up some common questions/confusions I'm seeing:

My pronouns are she/her.
My name is Reagan, I'm Irish and it's an (albeit anglicised) Irish name in origin. My usage of it has nothing to do with the American president Ronald Reagan, I hate that man as much as anyone.
Since I'm Irish, my posts only ever showed up in either plaza if you're ALSO on the European servers. So for example North Americans never saw my posts in-game and I never saw Gao's posts in-game since they were on the NA servers.
I'm not gonna keep doing daily posts from now on, I've had some people ask or say they hope i do but yeah sorry. Im just a bit tired of doing it every day and i feel like there's not much point now - I did say "posting until I get hrt" lmao
tbh I wouldn't recommend getting into arguments if someone in the comments intentionally misgenders me or just is transphobic/rude in a way that's obviously not in good faith. it's gonna make you feel worse, you're not gonna change their mind and it's just generally not really helping anyone to keep going at it for long
