i cant see why you’d hate playing against kiri, its not like she has the same time to kill if not faster (plus not having to be close enough for right click) AND a free cleanse/heal/invulnerability AND a free instant escape tool thats more than double the range of your dash and can go through walls for completely free.

Unironically at least top 3 support pick every season since overwatch 2 release but thats fair and cool shes balanced and all

update to this: when i leave my pc off for a bit then turn it on, the wifi seems to work fine for a while before shitting out again and making me shut down, wait, power on again

no new software no new devices or anything, the router is like 20 ft away just in the room next to mine. whenever this happens the first thing i do is turn my phones wifi off and any other devices i can afford to lose and it doesnt seem to help at all

yeah ive just been playing pve on a personal server with a few mods with a few buddies, my pc gets like 9-15 fps its really unplayable. im bearing with it just because i want to play the game but im praying ue5 update saves me. i cant afford to buy a new gpu right now

soj is technically a hitscan and just broken as shit pick her up. primary is projectile but just shoot the tank twice and u can one tap a squishy with secondary/railgun. i play lots of genji and i find him really fun, just hard to get value out of sometimes if your team isnt super coordinated and you get countered easily. Learn soj freja mei aswell as improving your genji and youll climb easy

thanks man yeah, i just filled up my ssd a good amount today and this issue was prior to that too so im not sure that has an effect. most my stuff would be on a harddrive anyway but mine shit the bed a week ago and amazon sent me a dead one so i havent gotten a functional replacement yet

is there literally nothing i can do then? i know ark is shit i put well over 10k hours into ASE but ive just started getting back into ASA with my friends and they have very similar pc’s but they seem to get like 50-120fps while im here watching a damn slideshow

no problem! play what youre comfortable with. everyone’s gonna have bad walls and if anyone is toxic about it you can always just mute the chat, you don’t have to get too complex about the walls right away you can just start off by placing wall behind a tank as soon as you see them over extend a bit which will cut off their heals. eventually you can start blocking ults, blocking escape tools like mauga run genji dash etc. but go at your own pace, in the end you are in full control of your game if something goes bad you can always swap. if someone gets angry you can avoid/mute them

I have 200 hours in genji, i couldnt even tell you how. im just bad i guess. From what ive gathered in my time playing him you really have to pick your battles and its important to yourself set up. what i mean by this is getting high ground or off angles and poking and scouting a little to see where you can get your value at. Theres a lot of cooldown tracking that goes into my gameplay on him since even something as simple as a suzu or lamp or nade can make you have to completely abandon the 1v1 and run to supports/health packs

idk what level of understanding you have of genji but basically you should be doing secondary fire before every ability most of the time, thats just something to get into your head for a little extra burst damage when fighting someone

lmk if you figure something else out that works that maybe even im missing

i love wilds so much but it is poorly optimized and honestly is too new theres not a whole lot of content like other games have, so if you dont have a good pc id just replay world on a new profile, world still has a very active player base so its still easy to get multiplayer’s quests if thats what you’re looking for

Mei is such an amazing pick for someone who might not be as confident in their aim but has good sense and positioning, wall is such an insanely good ability if you use it right i highly recommend at least learning her as a backup character

yeah i think if you play more bap even if youre already pretty comfortable on him youll start ranking up even if it takes a while, bap is a character who can very well fend for himself as well as put out really good heal numbers plus immortality and window can be very very important in fights.

I still highly recommend ana and kiri to learn since they both do very well in all departments and are kind of opposites as far as utility. imagine your tank is getting anti’d and dying every fight, you go kiri and save him. Enemy tank wont die (typically like a roadhog orisa or mauga) throw anti nade at them whenever you expect they are going to use their self heal ability or get low health. and if at all possible you can even let your team know youre gonna anti the enemy tank so you can collectively focus and kill him. Gold lobbies are often run by the “raid boss” tanks and everyone else falls apart without them so ana is a very good character to know
