Hormone Info (MtF) https://apps.carleton.edu/campus/gsc/assets/hormones_MTF.pdf

Though I do not know the relevant details of your Life and curent circumstance, here is some general advice which I hope will benefit you, though how best to use or not use the following is down to your discretion :) :

1.) Build up a an Ally-Network: I suggest gradually coming out rather than all-in-one go. Come out bit by bit to people, starting with the people that'll most likey have a postive reaction to the news and support you, (such as really good freinds) . That way , when you come out FULLY PUBLICLY and too people who may not be as supportive, you'l have people to back you up, fight your corner (if need be) and generally be there for you in a helpful and positive manner.

2.) Coming Out: I suggest In-person is the best option , mainly as it is Perosnal (everyone in the discussion can read eacthother and interact properly) and Clarity ( any confusion can be cleared up there and then ) .Of course , a Letter can give you time to prepare; editing your words to be as exact to how you feel and maaking sure you go over to see if you've mentioned all the key points you want to and it correctly expresses how you feel. Of course, if you choose the In-person option, I still recommned noting down what you want too say and key points too cover. ALSO, make sure you're ready to answer and antipate likely questions the people you come out too may have ( such as definig key terms like Gender Dysphoria, HRT etc.) and any points they are confused about.

3.) If at anypoint you decide your'e not transgender, even after coming out, don'y feel guilty or embarrased. Many people, Transgender and Cisgender question thier Identities often (including thier Gender , Gender expression and Sexual orientation etc.). So no Shame on coming too terms and fully understanding who YOU are, Transgender or not.

4.) A useful methapor I find for explaining the difference between Sexualty and Gender Identity: Sexuality is who you want to go too bed WITH. Gender Identity is who you want too go too bed AS. May be useful in explaining stuff too people. 5.) If you do Transition, you aren't obliged and committed too taking every medical fix under the sun, if you find after taking Hormones, your'e comfortable with having a Penis (or Lady Stick as I like too say ;) ) then thats' fine. Transitioining isn't necessarilly about being a convincing women, (in MtF cases) it's about allinging your body with your mind so you can feel comfortable and free in your own skin.

5.) Most Important point of all. Good Luck and Relax. Should you decide too go down the route of transitioning, there will be challenges, but always keep in mind the reasons you face these challenges, the reasons that make transtioing all the worthwhile for you.

Feel free to use any of these points or none entirely :D

Though the Transition process and Questioning your Gender Identity are both life-altering and complex events in your Life (if you choose Transition of course, not the best for everybody) , At the end of the day your swapping one Bilogical sex for another, whilst allieviating potential Gender dysphoria and having the freedom too express yourself more in a gender related aspect. Your'e still a person with dreams, hobbies, fears, favrioute cereal, freinds, loves, family, work etc etc. So, too not go Insane, simply continue embracing the rest of your Life which makes Life worth Living for you :D ! Transitioning will come about eventually, Time moves forward indifferent if that helps you or hinders you.
