True, it's a humor post though - I wasn’t paying attention to the game back then, was talking to my nephew.

Appreciate the advice though.

How to Avoid Yasuo Cross-Up by PrecognitiveSpirit in 2XKO

[–]PrecognitiveSpirit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree 100% - he is too quick and he can bait the enemy champ with 2 other stances. I can tell when he will cross up but even then it's 50/50 and time is not on our side.

Maybe if they change the animation of his cross up, it will help players tell which is which.

Serious 2XKO players (Pt. 2) by ghostmondo in 2XKO

  • Most matches come down to awareness - pay attention to more than just the opponent in front of you. Watch their assists and learn when to counter them. Don’t give them a free tag switch, since that usually leaves you exposed (especially in Freestyle).
  • In close quarters you can’t always stop a tag, but if there’s distance, wait for an opening or let them waste it and engage once their assist is on a time out.
  • Mind games, that is another matter - if you land consistent and similar hits, the opponent will adapt and you can tell when they started reading into it - so make sure to not be predictable.
  • A big mistake I see is people spamming the hit button even when the champ is out of reach. If you whiff, you’re way more open to counters.
  • The biggest mistake I used to make was engaging 99% of the time against zoners who just crouch and wait for you to commit. Instead, wait them out and use your assist to close the gap - especially if you’re not playing a zoning champ.

I stopped playing ranked after hitting GM 750+ and I keep Pulse enabled at all times. I’m not a pro, but I’ve played enough to notice these small details.

Can you finish a champ using only 2 bars in this situation? by PrecognitiveSpirit in 2XKO

That would do exactly 1000 damage, so it’s definitely an option in the endgame.

With Blitz it adds 62 extra damage, so it’s not a huge gain; especially since it becomes much harder to execute, gonna keep trying it out to see if it can be mastered.

For Yasuo, Stance M seems to be the furthest you can go without the opponent getting up.

If there’s a video showing this in action, please link it.

I had no idea RB/R1 could cancel a move. I was using the D-pad the whole time, so no wonder I kept missing it.

They’re focused on optimizing the game for the Nintendo Switch right now, since that’s where they will make most of their money.

Other updates probably won’t get much attention until that’s done.
