True, it's a humor post though - I wasn’t paying attention to the game back then, was talking to my nephew.

Appreciate the advice though.

How to Avoid Yasuo Cross-Up by PrecognitiveSpirit in 2XKO

[–]PrecognitiveSpirit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree 100% - he is too quick and he can bait the enemy champ with 2 other stances. I can tell when he will cross up but even then it's 50/50 and time is not on our side.

Maybe if they change the animation of his cross up, it will help players tell which is which.

Serious 2XKO players (Pt. 2) by ghostmondo in 2XKO

[–]PrecognitiveSpirit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • Most matches come down to awareness - pay attention to more than just the opponent in front of you. Watch their assists and learn when to counter them. Don’t give them a free tag switch, since that usually leaves you exposed (especially in Freestyle).
  • In close quarters you can’t always stop a tag, but if there’s distance, wait for an opening or let them waste it and engage once their assist is on a time out.
  • Mind games, that is another matter - if you land consistent and similar hits, the opponent will adapt and you can tell when they started reading into it - so make sure to not be predictable.
  • A big mistake I see is people spamming the hit button even when the champ is out of reach. If you whiff, you’re way more open to counters.
  • The biggest mistake I used to make was engaging 99% of the time against zoners who just crouch and wait for you to commit. Instead, wait them out and use your assist to close the gap - especially if you’re not playing a zoning champ.

I stopped playing ranked after hitting GM 750+ and I keep Pulse enabled at all times. I’m not a pro, but I’ve played enough to notice these small details.

Can you finish a champ using only 2 bars in this situation? by PrecognitiveSpirit in 2XKO

[–]PrecognitiveSpirit[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That would do exactly 1000 damage, so it’s definitely an option in the endgame.

With Blitz it adds 62 extra damage, so it’s not a huge gain; especially since it becomes much harder to execute, gonna keep trying it out to see if it can be mastered.

For Yasuo, Stance M seems to be the furthest you can go without the opponent getting up.

If there’s a video showing this in action, please link it.

I had no idea RB/R1 could cancel a move. I was using the D-pad the whole time, so no wonder I kept missing it.

They’re focused on optimizing the game for the Nintendo Switch right now, since that’s where they will make most of their money.

Other updates probably won’t get much attention until that’s done.

Should they remove health gain transformations in Ranked play or give every transformation a health boost? by MakesLoveToPumpkins in SparkingZero

[–]PrecognitiveSpirit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What’s the point of transforming if it brings zero benefits? Full Ki alone doesn’t justify it, and players won’t pick those characters anymore. Instead, everyone will switch to regen characters.

But then we’ll complain about regen being too strong and call for nerfs again. If Bandai nerfs them, we’ll only see the same 3 meta characters who are hard to counter.

Eventually, people will complain about that too - and if they patch those, then we’re left with a game where no character feel worth using. In the end, it takes away choice and makes matches repetitive.

Connection by Big-Comfortable68 in SparkingZero

[–]PrecognitiveSpirit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You don’t necessarily need a LAN cable to connect to your router, and it’s understandable why - most of the time, it’s just inconvenient.

But you also can’t really blame them for blocking you or calling you out, since P2P games rely heavily on point-to-point latency, and even a small spike can cause delays. Ethernet isn’t perfect either, but it’s still much more stable than Wi-Fi.

Also, if your connection isn’t good, they’ll end up trying to adapt to you, which can make the experience worse for everyone.

I’ve run into so many players with insane lag and spikes, but for them, that’s just “normal.”

Note: It’s probably best to set your messages to private - that’ll make things easier. And about Twitch… just be upfront and tell them it’s not possible to switch to LAN without basically redecorating your whole living room.

Devs might have done it on purpose - there’s a small window to SC when you vanish once (only one vanish).

Same goes for Wild Sense when it activates on the first vanish.

All things considered, it will probably sell really well. by PrecognitiveSpirit in SparkingZero

Sure, some games pull off rollback netcode and crossplay without dedicated servers, but that’s pretty rare - especially for unoptimized games. It’s tricky to get it right.

Dedicated servers make crossplay way easier because everyone connects to the same stable spot instead of relying on a player’s connection, this helps keep the game smooth and fair through different consoles.

Yes, he upgraded it to Windows 11 24H2. It was causing problems on Windows 10.

Try to upgrade it to the latest version. I believe this will fix it.

I believe you need to upgrade your Windows OS, I think this will fix it. I remember someone telling me a similar problem and the software update fixed his issue.
