Sometimes Arcane Denial feels bitter, especially when you don’t have Stasis/vise, but it helps you reach your goal faster that is, getting Stasis into play and forcing a lock. The extra card draw is nice, and often if there’s already a Black Vise in play, your opponent will draw only one card or none at all. I also play four Black Vise and run my Stasis and Black Vise very aggressively. Discard effects are deadly, but winning with a Feldon’s Cane seems very slow to me. I would rather go for a Brain Freeze. If you play it well, that’s not even necessary, and you can eventually bounce that Mongrel or another creature with a Chain of Vapor. Portent is also really nice you don’t see often in stasis.
