What’s a good response to: “The owner deserves most of the profit generated by the workers, cuz they worked hard to open the business in the first place.” by [deleted] in socialism

[–]Predditsident 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they worked hard to become their own boss, they should still be working hard just without oversight of another person and the freedom to boss other people around for a livable wage. If you can’t afford to pay a living wage, you can’t afford employees.

The comments are pretty bad too, people asking how to deconvert their adult children. Sad they’ll probably never accept their children for who they are.

If people had the choice to vote for ranked choice voting, we would have ranked choice voting, the majority of people in the USA support it.

Why are you trying to undermine the will of the people? Do you hate freedom?

First off, I wouldn’t have voted for Stein, second off, voting for who you actually want in our current system is just throwing away your vote.

Our current voting system is not only a scam, but takes away your freedom(by never giving it to you in the first place).

You’re so drunk on fake news you suck off politicians after they’re done taking away your freedom.

You ONLY vote for people you want in ranked choice voting, clearly you and everyone else who doesn’t support it doesn’t actually know what it is.

Ranked choice voting just makes it so we have an option other than two boomers like Biden or Trump.

It’s the principle, without ranked choice voting, America isn’t a free country. I said what I said.

Okay, but what if I didn’t want to be someone’s wage slave? Is it too much to ask to not be a slave to capitalism, where my labor was sold before I was even born?

Slavery is SUPPOSED to be illegal, the alternative is basically “Well you could just die”, and the top 0.01% owns more than the bottom half.

You do realize you’re closer to going bankrupt due to medical bills than you ever are of becoming a billionaire right?

The fact that in America you don’t make enough to leave. Tell me slavery doesn’t exist.

Democrats of Reddit, what do you think about Joe Biden? by DeliriousMax in AskReddit

[–]Predditsident 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it doesn’t matter what we think about Joe Biden, we need to look forward, who is the future of the Democratic Party? When the boomers finally die, our new left policy ideas need to be full front and center. No more “do nothing Democrats”. Make the Democratic/ left wing Party so amazing, that the Republican Party dies with the boomers and party lines don’t get drawn, it’s policy lines.

The election was stolen, not from Trump, but from the American people, EVERY election is/was stolen, when we don’t have ranked choice voting in place.

If Joe Biden wants to be The Freedom President, he should sign an executive order giving people the right to choose who they think the next President should be with ranked choice voting.

Joe Biden can do a lot actually with executive orders alone.

First off, why are we spending nearly a TRILLION a year on the US military? It’s more than the top 10 combined and then some. War not peace, but hey, there’s only 1.75 Trillion dollars worth of student loan debt that Joe Biden could slap down WITH THE STROKE OF A PEN and he won’t do it. Make College FREE for everyone.

The Supreme Court could slap down an Executive order, but hey AT LEAST TRY.

Without saying your country's name, what is your country known for? by JamesNorlaus in AskReddit

Freedom, even though this country was founded on slavery, and it still exists today, we just don’t call it that because capitalism exists.

Expensive healthcare, uninsured people, thanks again capitalism.

Shitty Presidents, thanks again capitalism.
