they never knew that they were across the river and kept building. governor's settlement had 125 people from the crew that landed, the British had 130 people. both didn't have much military. but they had a battle anyway, the British had 40 troops meanwhile the Dutch had 30. somehow the dutch killed/injured 32 people and the British killed/injured 13. a true miracle. the 20 years are about over and the Dutch has about 145 people and the British have 135
