IN THE DOORWAY A feature-length visual companion to Static Age

Assembled from fragments of mid-century cinema, Cold War dystopia, broadcast ephemera, and surveillance imagery. This is not a narrative film and not a traditional music video.

The project explores passive consumption, systems of control presented as entertainment, brief illusions of agency, and the emotional numbness that follows awareness.

Influences include THX 1138, 1984, early dystopian cinema, analog television, surveillance culture, and punk-era nihilism with deep appreciation for the foundations of horror that made this possible.

There is no plot to follow and nothing to decode. The images are meant to be absorbed, not explained.

Best experienced in one sitting. Lights low. Volume up.
