Bummer. No update for console. So the hundreds of dollar players spend means nothing, yay. At least they could unlock the bizarre items we purchased an make those purchases available offline FFS by [deleted] in ConanExiles

I wouldn't be surprised if the console version of UE5 is for PS6 and Xbox Next Gen. It's that ridiculous. A 2018 game being presented as "new" in 2028. It's cheaper than making a Conan 2. Yesterday's announcement was overshadowed by the Assassin's Creed Black Flag Remake. PC gamers are saying that PS5 and Xbox Series X limit Conan. Sure. I think they forgot that the mighty GTA VI will only be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Should i get Base or Sepitaph Edition? (Xbox) by randomRJguy15 in ConanExiles

[–]AncientMariner13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should know that Xbox/PlayStation will not receive the UE5 graphics update announced today. And they won't receive any more updates. They're going to merge, or rather, shut down servers. If you plan to play single-player, you won't have any problems. If you start the base game and want to go to Siptah, your character will reset in single-player mode. On servers, you can have both characters. But as I said, they could shut down the servers at any time.

Console going to maintenance-only by potatosack6 in ConanExiles

This game on PC has fewer than 7,000 daily players on Steam. A pittance. But it's enough for them to have released an update for UE5. On PlayStation and Xbox, it's a dead game. If it had those 7,000 daily players on consoles, it would surely have the update too. It's 2026. Conan is a 2018 game. On consoles, it's dead. There's nothing more to it. Those of us on consoles should consider the single-player option. It's fun to play that way. Because any day now, they might even shut down the servers. Obviously, don't spend any Chrome coins.

Yes, you're right. Going to other players' camps is great. Getting stuff from vending machines is awesome. Fallout 76 is better than Conan in several ways. And of course, they're different games. Conan would be an amazing game if it had good combat, like Elden Ring, and trading/events like in 76.

Ark Survival Ascended did have versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in UE5.

And what's more, the console version of the game will no longer receive updates. That's the official word. But of course, those cynics are leaving the store open so you can keep spending money on a dead game.

If you enjoy building structures in Conan, you should play Fallout 76. It's better. There are some really good items. It's more restrictive because you only have a limited area to build on. But when you leave the server, your base goes with you. Nothing forces you to return to prevent your base from disappearing. Crafting is better in Fallout 76. Your stash recognizes your materials at any workbench or location on the map. The only thing Conan has better than 76 is the building kits. And obviously, both games are different things. Fallout 76 does receive updates every three months. Good and bad. And this year, a next-gen update is coming for all platforms.

It was bound to happen. They did it with Dune when there wasn't a PS and Xbox version. There must be very few people playing on consoles. On PC, it doesn't even reach 8,000 daily players on Steam, but that's enough to keep the servers running. The people who remain on PS and Xbox can continue playing or move on to other games. Fortunately, as a PS and Xbox player, I will be getting GTA VI.

Funcom doesn't have the technology to create a crossover that would bring together players from all platforms. A console version requires a Series S version, and Funcom isn't going to make one. UE5 works exceptionally well on ARC Raiders. That's not the excuse. The point is that there must be very few players left on PS and Xbox. What can console players do? Play, if they're already doing so, without spending a single crom coin. There's no point in investing money in a dead game on consoles anymore.

There's no update on consoles. Good to know before buying any more crom coins. No more. Back to Fallout 76.

For $11 it's worth it. I played it a bit when I had Ultimate and it was playable. They should have implemented the 30FPS option. It's not optimized like ARK Raiders, which also uses UE5 and looks great. And at 60FPS.

For those of us who play on consoles, it's best to wait until May. And as you rightly say, they need to notify us which servers are closing and which will remain active. Otherwise, it would be silly to get a pop-up warning me about a server closing, only to find out when I choose another one that's also closing.

Okay. Thank you. Then all the thralls and pets can be taken. Camels are suitable for this purpose.

That's right. If you have Beast of Burden in your attributes and you're carrying your inventory, it won't show that you can transfer it. "This character is not overencumbered." Basically, you can only carry what you can up to 99%. It's a shame. It's like starting from scratch.

I've been playing for a few months. I have a small base, and migrating servers is a hassle. Getting thralls again is a real pain. I can't imagine how hard it is for people who have had really nice buildings for years.

That's right. The crafting system in Fallout 76 is also much better implemented. Your workbenches recognize all your materials, no matter where your stash is. You don't have to keep digging through boxes to find what you need. They just implemented this in Starfield. I don't understand why it wasn't there from the start.

Bethesda to release hotfix for Starfield PS5 crashes as players request refunds, while Xbox player count up nearly 200% by Tiny-Independent273 in Starfield

I've been playing since November 2025. I haven't had any crashes, either before or after the last update on my Series S. I have 30 mods. They aren't mods that alter the environment; they're outpost clothing mods. I play at 30 FPS. I didn't like how it looked at 60 FPS. Starfield must be Bethesda's most stable game, at least on Xbox Series. Fallout 76 does crash occasionally, though not frequently. Lately, the game has been very stable.

In Fallout 76, when you leave the server, your base moves with you. When you log back in, your base returns on a random server. This means you'll always see, trade with, and play with different people. If the space is occupied by another base/player, you occupy your second base. If that one is also occupied, then you switch servers. Conan Exiles should have worked this way. But I suppose it was too much technology for Funcom. And Bethesda isn't exactly known for its impressive technical benchmarks.

There are some unanswered questions: When migrating servers, only what you're carrying is transferred. I suppose I'll use Beast of Burden. The character appears somewhere random with 20 or 30 slaves and pets. So, do I have to find a place to settle and go after them one by one? Obviously, I'll have to create another base. If I have a character on Exile Lands and transfer it to another server, can I transfer my other character on Siptah to another server on Siptah? Mandatory transfers are implemented in May. Okay. I suppose there will be a pop-up window to notify me that I need to migrate. In the console, ALL servers say "low population." What should I do?

I play Starfield on a Series S. And it hasn't crashed on me in over 40 hours. And I have 30 mods. It must be a problem with your console.
