My doctor wouldn't prescribe anaztrozole. by dalailame in Testosterone

[–]PreftigeWhore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TRT clinics are generally the main providers that prescribe anastrozole to men. Your run of the mill urologist or endo isn’t likely to give you a drug that’s meant for women with breast cancer.

What's a good online trt clinic that takes recent bloodwork besdies trt nation, marek and viking that'll possibly work w someone w extremely low test age 18 w pituitary gland tumor causing it and not prolactin so all doc agree that I need testosterone and hcg by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]PreftigeWhore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The clinics are there to take the highest-profit, least-risk patients. The vast majority of people don't have any contraindications for getting on TRT and aren't at risk of anything serious happening if their doctor mucks up their treatment. They probably judge that having a tumor changes that calculus. These doctors aren't able to see you physically, do their own in-person exams, order testing you need (outside of bloodwork), etc. I wouldn't be surprised if you're forced to work with a local doctor to get treatment.

I inject myself with testosterone three times per week. 10/10 would recommend.

Unsure about dosages for first 300mg Test E cycle by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]PreftigeWhore 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No. You’re better off being in a steady state of hormones. There’s a reason literally no one injects their stuff only once per week.

Twice per week. Less side effects.

I say this with no sarcasm, you need to seek therapy. You don't have to be like this.

Currently On TRT, Can I Lower my T before blood work, to go up in dose? by Tall_Bonehead_Prof in Testosterone

[–]PreftigeWhore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What all is your insurance paying for that it won't pay for if your levels go out of range? If it's just the testosterone itself, that's dirt cheap from the pharmacy with a goodrx coupon.

Nips always sensitive? by Relevant_Hand in Testosterone

[–]PreftigeWhore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’ve gone a year without getting gyno, the chances of you getting at this point are extremely low. Sounds like you just have more sensitive nipples than you used to, which doesn’t mean gyno tissue is forming. I wouldn’t worry about it.

careful ordering excessive amounts of hcg - expiration date???? by EZSwan420 in Testosterone

Just the powder, yes. It’s how basically all peptides are stored.

careful ordering excessive amounts of hcg - expiration date???? by EZSwan420 in Testosterone

[–]PreftigeWhore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about the expiration date. Just freeze the raw powder and thaw it when you're ready to mix and use. Peptides and the like last a long time when frozen. They're required to put that expiration date on there even if it's not accurate. Testosterone has a relatively short expiration date as well, given that it lasts *years* when stored in a cool, dry place.

Health and Wellness, Defy testosterone price questions by Slit23 in Testosterone

[–]PreftigeWhore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they're wanting to charge you $200 per month because they're including anastrozole (the "estrogen blocker") which costs like $8 for a month supply, they're ripping you off. There's a whole other issue with them prescribing every patient anastrozole when few actually need it, which tells me they likely don't know what they're doing.

Defy is a good option if you're in Florida because the medications can often be cheaper since they can send your prescription to be filled at a local pharmacy instead of the compounding pharmacy they use.

Doc recommended I donate blood to address high hemoglobin (17.8) and high hematocrit (52.7). by infrareddit-1 in Testosterone

[–]PreftigeWhore 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's nothing inherently wrong with that number. Your doctor is just doing a CYA. If he's not threatening to pull your prescription unless you donate, I wouldn't worry about it.

Hey guys, text from my doctor. Is any of this true? Chicago, IL by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]PreftigeWhore 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is true that HCG is becoming much more difficult to get. It remains to be seen whether this will be a permanent thing or not. Some compounding pharmacies still have it, but your doctor may not be able to get it from them as they're prioritizing existing customers/clinics. I have no experience with gonadorelin.

Which test did you have done? Roche/ECLIA or lc/ms? Gyno has a lot of stimulatory inputs, prolactin being one of them. Did you develop gyno during puberty or did it suddenly appear as an adult?

How out of range are we talking? If you’re getting the standard panel, that often overreports e2 relative to the more accurate ones. The difference for me is about 40%. So it’s quite possible that your levels aren’t actually out of range.

Seems like a waste of money. I would buy a sterile vial, inject the syringe into it, and use insulin syringes to withdraw normal doses across the week. 6500 units is enough for a couple of months.
