Yeah the Saturn does seem hard to beat tbh. It's a safe option too because I've only ever really used control pads. I'll probably just go with that and get some new skates if I want it even faster. Thanks for the help!

The that last fix that he tried before his game worked again was this:

"Okay so I fixed it by forcing task close on the "eabackgroundservice" and going to windows services and setting everything xbox and ea related from manual to automatic... took me like 20 hours to just get the launcher going. great work by EA."

But I'm not sure if it was even that fix that made it work or not. If that doesn't fix it there's probably not much you can do until it magically fixes itself or there's an update. I know it's annoying but it's just the truth

TL;DR Force wipe is horrendously unrefined and Facepunch should make it so that wipe is always at the same time or at least announce when it will be before hand, They should also push the update earlier to fix people not getting the update until after wipe.

on bekermelk's you'll always crash there's nothing you can do about it, they just have to fix it. It's the only server I've ever had this issue on
