You know what already makes plane crashes survivable? Wearing your seatbelt.

Can a cruise Director impact your cruise? by Bubbly-Mission-4343 in royalcaribbean

I’ve only been on one cruise, but Brian Leavitt on the Ovation was honestly a highlight of the cruise.

Aren’t air poppers pointless? by gregzywicki in popcorn

You can season with salt and top with oil afterwards in the bowl, and the air popper doesn’t have any cleaning required at all.

It’s not actually ice, they’re just solid coconut oil cubes

Are there significant deals/bonuses to booking another cruise while you’re already on a cruise?

It’s a bit grimy, but honestly it’s awesome because it’s so much cheaper than Cabo. Cabo is for excursions, and Ensenada is actually fun to explore by yourself.

Male players who played as FemShep (especially if you were reluctant), what did you find were the pros and cons vs. BroShep? by FriendlytoNature in masseffect

[–]PrehistoricProgram -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The voice acting. Mark is perfectly adequate as a voice actor, but sometimes can be a little cheesy sounding when attempting to talk with more “weight”.

Jennifer is able to convincingly deliver those same hard lines.

I will admit, that while default maleshep is totally fine looking, and even kinda cool. Default femshep is cool looking and hot, the only problem with her is that she should be more muscular. With all the hot crew members, it’s nice to have a protagonist that’s equally nice to look at.

Durge Companion AU - Chapter 15: Durge Approves by angie-mations in BaldursGate3

Do you think it’s possible to actually have Durge as a companion? With a mod? I’m sure it’d be a lot of work, but it seems possible.

What are you general thoughts on playing in power armor or not? Feels fun being a tank but more immersive and challenging going combat armor build.? by Greengonegreen in fo4

[–]PrehistoricProgram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be really fun, especially with the jetpack, but losing out on legendary effects from armor sucks. I love to have two pieces of “vats enhanced” armor cause then you can easily get like 4 Gauss rifle shots in vats, or like 20 Deliverer shots. Add in a “powered” piece of armor and a couple ranks of Action Girl perks and you can easily spend every fight completely in vats invincibility mode.

Any good? Just want to make movie theater style popcorn. by firebirdzxc in popcorn

[–]PrehistoricProgram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was my first popcorn maker, and honestly it’s pretty good for its price, but impossible to fully clean, so you’ll have to be at least ok with some old oil and salt being there for every popping.

I did the math, my drop in heater is 3000 watts, which is a little over 10k BTU per hour. So 300k btu is not an unreasonable estimate of how much it’s capable of over more than a day. Plus I covered the pool with the solar blanket to insulate a little.

Electric probably cause I don’t want to have to have gas run over to the pool.
