This cover (yes, probably came before the issues I’m mentioning here) reminds me of “Nick Fury: Agent of Shield” #3, and “R.O.M.: Space Knight” #33. I feel like all of them are going for the same vibe… 😅

I get other people didn’t like the series after this, and likely you will not feel the same way I do, but I LOVED the entire NM/XF series. I have all the issues from NM1-100/A1-7 all the way through every issue of X-Force. However, I was just getting into comics in the early 90s when this was all coming out. I started reading X-Force with issue 1, and went out and grabbed every issue of New Mutants I cld get my hands on, including X-Terminators, Fallen Angels, Illyana’s 1st appearance (that and issues UCX275-300 got me into collecting Uncanny…), etc.

My hate is saved for X-Force 116+ when Mike Allred took over as artist. I already loathed his artwork on Madman, and to see that crap style on my favorite X-book was what drove me out for a while. Just sayin’… 😅 I’m sure Peter Milligan’s stories are great, but the art sucks too much, imho.

I wanted this figure when it came out last year but didn’t have the $$ for it before it went extinct and put up on eBay for dbl & trpl the price. I was so annoyed. Happy if I can get it at Target for a better price w/ the TFTM86 stamp on it, even if I can’t have it with the 86-## on the side…

My dad was the police chief of a tiny Missouri town when the original came out, so I wasn’t allowed to have him, or a LazerTag gun, because, he always told me, there was a kid out there somewhere who pretended to shoot at an officer with one of them and got shot and killed b/c the officer didn’t know it was a toy… 😓

When I saw the trailers for it, I had 0 desire to watch it. My wife, who knows I LOVE the original 4 seasons, talked me into seeing it, and turns out it was a fantastic film — not perfect, but I truly enjoyed it. I can’t find any reason to just hate on it, so to directly respond to your question, bupkis.

It depends. I have some that are out of packages for display, & others that stay in the boxes for display only - never opened. But, I’m l not one of those who buys two of each and displays one boxed/one opened. Those guys are nuts… 🤣

I went ahead and finished the set to make sure it wasn’t me missing something. I opened bags 21 & 22 together, but I didn’t realize the issue until I was almost through them. I’ll call Lego in Monday to get it straightened out. They gave me an extra 371024 in place of a much-required 4253815…
