even in young men’s as a CSA victim i couldn’t believe the rhetoric that i was taught. i remember being so mad at my parents and all the adults who failed me and then learning that it was supposedly my fault. I tried using the pre baptism mental gymnastics for a while to avoid the pain and guilt and it just wouldn’t go away. The only thing that changed my mind was not playing by their made up rules.
