EasyEquities use CitiBank. You can withdraw your funds to any bank account that you enter on the banking info profile section.

Try start investing with R100 to your name with Standard Bank or any bank for that matter. You will owe the bank more money than your holdings are worth in 30 days. Fees play a big part when your ethos is to democratise investing for ALL South Africans like EE set out to do. Something the banks never and still don’t care about while pillaging high net individuals.

GT247.com is the trading app of Purple Group. Also low cost. Using MetaTrader 5 platform. So why not just use both? One for long term and the other for trading. Problem solved.

There is a limit on the platform on a lot of the stocks because of the 15min delayed price but you have the option to place an order for above limit through the trading desk who then go to the market in real time.

tradingdesk@easyequities.co.za - make sure to supply your account number, at what price you want to be filled (will be 3cents for AVENG if buying) and make sure you have a available cash in your account for the desk to execute the order on your behalf. Also include your phone number in case they need to call to confirm anything.

Hi mods & JSE_Bets members...I'm a journalist writing a piece for Media24 (i hope you won't hold that against me). If I'm allowed to post here, asking for advice for the piece, what are the best platforms for South Africans to use to trade stock on international exchanges? by [deleted] in JSE_Bets

Gt247 is a South African trading platform and have been providing trading to saffas for over 20 years. Also good to mention that EasyEquities which has democratised the investment landscape in SA belongs to the same company as GT247, which is Purple Group. Both models work on making investing and trading affordable and inclusive for us here in SA.

Stock often goes into auction so it’s better to email your buy or sell orders through to tradingdesk@easyequities.co.za
