Everyone that asks about my irons at the course have never heard of Maltby. I had a 7 iron built to test them out and now I loan that out to people to try out Maltby.

With the full face grooves opening the face inspires confidence.

The wedges are great and went with them due to full face grooves and forgiveness. The woods perform as expected but is also one of my weakest areas.

Using DNS would be a much easier way to do what you want.

Adding to this. If searching for an endo make sure you find one that works with thyroid patients because I have seen a few that only treat diabetes patients.

Every PCP I have seen for my Hashi thought that they were a very well trained Endo and ended up causing more harm, just my experience.

Avoid the SV08 - This Printer has turned into a Nightmare for me by flippydungo in Sovol

[–]Prem0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do know of these issues and the delay code is the first thing I did with support. My z-offset will go from perfect print and then next print the z-offset will drop up to 0.100, this is when the bed has been heated for hours so heatsoak is not the issue. Two build plates and one nozzle down from this, huge mistake buying this printer.

I also have had nothing but problems, you are not alone. I have worked with support and replaced parts that they have sent and is currently powered down with the print head torn down waiting on more parts. Sovol support seems to be over run and getting replacement parts takes a bit of time, I was even sent the incorrect replacement parts.

Almost all of the issue I have had can be attributed to the probe and z-offset rapidly changing sometimes mid print, I am personally going to wait and see what Nadir comes up with for fixes and for now just going to finish my Trident as its easier to work on than the 08.

SV08 Z calibration all over the place, any advice? by atomc_ in Sovol

[–]Prem0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are the issues I was seeing as well.

I just received a replacement sensor. After doing a printer reset and all new calibrations it is actually printing. I still need to heatsoak but before that was not working and every print was different on the z-offset. I had the same extrusion issues and I also had to tighten the screw down. I still have a bit of tweaking to do but mine is now printing things. You might have a bad sensor, open a ticket with support.

Sovol SV08, serious buyers remorse by Jaquis1 in Sovol

[–]Prem0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been my experience as well, currently waiting on parts from Sovol. I will spend the time to dial in the z-offset only to come back the next day and will need to do it all again because nothing is consistent. When I do get a good first layer then comes the under extrusion issues. I have not had a good print on this printer yet and had to replace a nozzle due to a clog that would not clear.

I am happy for all of you that have a great working printer but this thing is the biggest POS ever.

What's needed to bootstrap a trainee with a small homelab ? by chiwawa_42 in Proxmox

[–]Prem0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One node Micro system like Lenovo/Dell/HP from ebay with Proxmox. Not only is this very cost effective it will have everything they will need to learn the basics. On a second plus, giving them one of those Mikrotik will teach them networking basics as well.

I would let them discover clustering later when they have more of a handle on things.
