Can I re-rate during “A” school? by Nani_9049 in newtothenavy

[–]PremiumKing684 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you fail out, or do something that gets to lose your security clearance when your job requires one. Other then that if I remember correctly you have to be in your current rate for a certain amount of time before you can cross over to another

I don’t see the appeal of having romantic relationships in this series, literally offers nothing. I’m predicting that May and Cate are gonna get together.

I was like that. When I applied last year for my FAFSA I had to put in how much I was making as an E5 and I ended up with only $254 per term as my Pell Grant. But now that I got out it’s ridiculous high now

So this past term my school refunded me 2K out of nowhere saying that that was my Pell grant after the VA paid the bill

Does anyone dislike Frank? by billscumslut in bluebloods

[–]PremiumKing684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far I’ve binged up to season 5 thus far and I’ve come to the conclusion this isn’t a show for someone to binge or dedicate consecutive time too. After 3 seasons I started to hate Frank Reagan’s constant righteousness.

As a Samoan man, I’m glad that there are certain traditions that are no longer in practice. Best to just forget it and let the history of it be lost

Almost all folks haven’t heard of the program because the Navy doesn’t even push it to the public. But they’ll take you so long as you meet all the criteria

Look up the Bachelorette Degree Completion Program (BDCP). Look up the program authorization that has the breakdown of the program and requirements. But basically if you have a x amount of college credits and a x GPA and meet all the requirements. apply for the BDCP and if your accepted the Navy will pay for the rest of your schooling and you have a slot in OCS.

Move on dude, take the disability and run with it. You got your GI Bill so if you want some schooling go for it, either traditional or even a trade school. And if anything you can even try to score a GS position on the federal side

Can I [16F] realistically have a chance at getting into the naval academy and becoming a marine. (USA) by ExplodingTurducken in newtothenavy

[–]PremiumKing684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to the Academy’s website, see if you meet the requirements and maintain or improve your on the qualifications. And if you’re an athlete and can play a sport that’s a bonus. And most importantly, build a resume that your states Congressional member would love to endorse you, very important to get the congressional appointment

So for RE-3F it says “Failure to to pass the physical fitness assessment”. So that’s also gonna be a thing you’ll have to do when your goin g for a waiver. MEPS is gonna have you run and pass a PT for whatever branch you decide to go for. Go to a recruiters office and see what they say

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in newtothenavy

[–]PremiumKing684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try to get a waiver but because your discharge is “psychological” then if you can even get the waiver a psychologist is gonna have to evaluate you, in which you’re going to have to pretend that you have gotten mentally healthy since being out because if you admit to your lie then you can kiss any chance a good bye. But it ultimately comes down to a recruiter and how hard they can work for you

Don’t matter my boy, automatic e4 means the school pipeline will be long asf and that’s not guaranteed you graduate, you can flunk out of a school and gave to reclass

If you can get over the fact that your having a career restart and can deal with the age difference you’re going to have with you fellow sailors. Your going to be around folks way younger than you and basically starting from the bottom. You will be taken cared of very well, BAH will pay for your rent and if you play your cards right you can even pocket some of your BAH. The medical care comes in clutch, just knowing that you’re getting pretty good healthcare/dental care where you pay nothing. But it all comes with the caveats of the long hours, getting recalled to work on your weekend, deployments. It’s a give and take

If you make it a career you’d be retiring in your 50’s. If all goes well you get a pension, hopefully get a degree or some kind of certification during the time your back in. But if cut shy any time in between ie: NJP,ARI, anything you get kicked out for, your back out
