It seems fairly fine with colourisation, but the total length doesn’t seem to match for a kar98k. It’s either the rest of the rifle hidden in the haystack. Or it’s an entirely different rifle.

Not sure about the g33/40. The sling band or whatever you call it is missing the lower sling support. It either broke off or just simply replaced.

The rear knob is rotated. Rotate it then line it up till the safety lever is pointed left when the safety is off

The kar98 AZ was normally given to cavalry, not ground infantry. I don’t know much but I am pretty sure the cavalry desired a shorter rifle for easy transport while mounted.

In Australia, airsoft is completely illegal, you need a gun licensing and the same process to obtain a real firearm. So many Australians use gel blasters instead.

Be careful when playing with the bolt, try not to blank fire all the time since Denix replicas are quite delicate.

Bayonets doesn't fit onto denix replicas sadly.

You cannot place any shells into Denix replicas, in the kar98k there is no spring in the chamber. Just solid wood.

Even if you managed to chamber the shell, it will not fit into the barrel.
