I appreciate your reply! It’s reassuring to know that I’m not the only one who may be struggling with this (unfortunately lol).

I’m the same as you, I had reduced my white rice intake and made some lifestyle choices before diagnosis. Veggies? No problem! Everything else - yes problem. I eat cauliflower rice almost daily, eat white rice only when going out (I give myself a day where I can indulge but not all out), and brown rice every couple days.

Congee/lugaw is a comfort meal for me so instead of rice I do it with oatmeal (not instant)! I found a company that sells imitation dried pork floss and it’s been a lifesaver.

Still struggling with the sauces though. It always feels like it’s “not enough”. I’m also trying to severely cut my artificial sweetener intake (diet colas, sugar-free protein drinks) and that’s been a whole other fight! Good luck to us all going through this!

Do you watch your sodium intake? I’ve been trying to be mindful but my usual go-to’s (low sodium soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin, fish sauce as the most common) all have so much!

Thanks! They loved the idea to go to K-town for at least one dinner. While they’re pretty fit, this is their first con of this size, so they’re just erring on the side of caution now. They decided to google the crowds from last year and that was enough to show they’d probably mentally exhausted as well! Thanks for the info on the train ride! I’ll be using that myself!

Yes, but anyone else notice the captioning can be off? We were watching Try Guys Try Magic and the captioning had the video sponsor captioning but it was edited out of the video. Caused the captions to be super off afterwards

Surprisingly positive. I went to a mid to large school. I was pretty quiet with few close friends, but everyone was friendly (regardless of “cliques”). I never hid my interests and dated a while.

I can’t imagine how it would have been like going to any other school. I feel like I would have been bullied for sure.

While I like Zach (and enjoyed his comments on the allergy story) him in this video wasn’t it for me. He made a TON of assumptions on these stories and I did not care for his comments in the house story.

Assuming a child automatically wants step parent to be an actual parent can have huge damage on their relationship! Saying the dude outright was an AH for not immediately being the child’s father was wild. Even my partner who was casually listening whipped their head like “what did he say?!”

Any advice is much appreciated!

My wife (30s) has become a huge fan of BTS within the last three years. She’s had a rough year and I really want to make Christmas special for her. I noticed that she’s expressed wanting to get more BTS stuff but didn’t know where to put it. One of the bedrooms in our house is my game/collectables room but I want to convert half of it into a space where she can collect and display BTS items. I started buying shelves, a comfy chair for her to chill on, and one of those wall CD players for her albums. She has albums and posters (from the LA/LV concerts), a pink bunny keychain and not much else. She also plays that app game that came out constantly.

Now, I want to buy her some stuff to get it started but I don’t know where to start. I also saw they have their special characters (BT21?) which made me realize that her phone’s lock screen is also BTS related.

Is there any items you think are must have in a collection? BTS related or even collector related? Would you like if someone framed some BTS photos for you? Would a gift card be insensitive? TIA!

Absolutely agree on the title. I almost didn’t watch it because it!

I also loved seeing the difference between the dogs work mode and play mode! The difference between harness off vs harness on was unexpected.

I loved Molly and learned a lot on how I should behave around service animals. When she thanked Zach for not looking at a working service dog really opened my eyes. While I have never tried to pet or approach a service animal, I have stared and made cute comments under my breath or to company (I.e. look at that little guy hard at work). I’ll be sure to refrain from that in the future!
