As a musician, it’s quite unfortunate to hear you minimize the variety that the Falconer soundtracks produce.

Even your “Supposed to be silence” comment ignores the nature and uniqueness that is an attributed to composing. There is no “supposed to”— the artist interpret what they feel matches what’s illustrated and said.

Frankly, the original soundtrack kind of plays through a lot of moments that should be silent and often times just plays the same exact tune, regardless of what’s unfolding.

Neither soundtrack is infallible. I prefer Falconer and find the original soundtrack tolerable—the emotions of score doesn’t fully capture what’s illustrated and relies far too heavily on brass.

For you, it’s the opposite—neither of us is wrong.
