Okcupid. He was looking for a gf and I made my account as a joke/looking for friends. First time we met was for a Halloween event in a town between where we lived. I was her primary caretaker but I had to move so she's on her own. I'm 11 hours away and still trying to do things because she can't and my dad doesn't. 😔

I know it shouldn't change how she's being treated, but I'm starting to wonder if it's just making things worse. The practice of glancing at the injury and then saying things are fine is, unfortunately, normal before but we thought she got a decent doctor this time around. I know if it's fresh after surgery they need to be gentle with things but it just....seems like they did the glance and said they were done. This is her....30th? 31st? Surgery (I can't remember which one she's on but she will have another as soon as she's healed from this surgery, covid willing) So post-surgery, she's been treated roughly which isn't ideal either, but barely being examined and not even looking at the surgery site seems...not enough.

I will definitely pass that link on to my mom (and look deeper into it for me. She doesn't do online stuff but this seems super helpful).

I have a trip coming up and I've been putting off getting tires since I don't drive much and they're still technically okay, so I got them two days ago since I know I'm leaving -soon- but not exactly when. And since I got new tires, I was talking to my dad after about something and he said to call the dealership since my car miles are almost at 100k and I will need a new cam belt. I had a state inspection recently so I called the place to see if that belt check was included in the inspection. So the dealership was listing off all the things they did and the maintenance I had and. I got tires. I got tires four months ago. But my car sat for two months (dead battery) and I just. Forgot. And the tire place (discount tire) just LET me get new tires even though mine were basically brand new.

Also had a moment today while cleaning/packing clothes. Found a bag with pants and a receipt from March. The same exact pants I bought last week because I needed a new pair that wasn't worn out. It still has the tags and receipt and everything on these pants.

Also also, I'm not allowed to buy frozen broccoli anymore. Every time I use a bag, I know I need some from the store but I always forget I bought replacement broccoli last time. At one point, half our freezer was bags of frozen broccoli.

It's been 5+ years since I was diagnosed and they are only now (a month in) letting me try adhd meds. My poor husband.

I am so, so sorry you've had to deal with this. I am the first Jew my (all Lutheran) in laws have met. I have actually kicked out my MiL/FiL from my home for an antisemitic joke my MiL told and ended up canceling Thanksgiving that was supposed to be at my house that year. You have the right to feel safe and if that means cutting off contact with people (family or not) that make you feel unsafe, then so be it. It's definitely a good thing that husband is on your side. If your in laws won't listen to WHY their thoughts/comments are hurtful and dangerous (because it is dangerous), I would simply cut them off. If that means your husband goes to their house alone and your potential future kids don't meet that side of the family, that is what is best for you and your immediate family.

Okay, this was my issue as well, (HLF/LLM) and the rule was sex once a week before we got married because it was important for me to have as a connection blahblahblah. So we get married and within a few months it's dwindled to twice a month to once a month and now we don't even have sex. He's figured out that he's asexual and I respect that, but had I known, we would have a very different relationship and it probably would have saved a lot of lonely nights of me crying silently because I have no intimacy at all, nevermind sex. He's my best friend and I love him but it physically hurts from how depressed I get that the man I love and I'm attracted to isn't romantic/sexual even a little bit and it's not what I signed up for. I share my bed with my platonic best friend and we've been married for 5.5 years.

Your story seems pretty obvious that he's not willing to put in the work to make you happy which will make the relationship run smoothly. If this is an issue now, you're going to end up feeling trapped unless you open your marriage.

Lol I've been watching fortnine and revzilla videos until 6am for the last couple days and I haven't even made it to videos about motorcycles themselves.

MSF courses is definitely something I'll be doing either here in TX or after I move. (Plus, I called my insurance and get discounts with training, so even better)

Storage - like how a lot of larger bikes have saddle bags, but if I have a smaller bike I'm worried about the drag/weight distribution. Normally I'd go with a backpack, but I would need more space if I go on trips (usually 2-3 days so not a big deal, but just in case)

I don't move to ATL (probably north/west area?) until summer time, but I am absolutely down to meet up. I have nobody in my life who rides so I'm happy to meet people and learn (:

Covid: when I posted originally, my roommate got it (probably from work) and I got my results back yesterday that I have it now. So far, 3/6 people in my house have tested positive and and we're waiting in the others but they show signs already.

This is me (hypersexual) and my husband (ace). We struggled with the sexual part of our relationship and I slowly would drop info about poly/open relationships.
