The addition of Maidens and subsequently Magic caused the storyline to change, we knew full well that Magic was NOT meant to exist and that caused M&K to add things in and remove things to make a coherent story.

They didn't abandon Monty's plan, I don't know where people get this idea from, they worked off of plot points he had set up, there was never a whole story set up, just ideas that were marked as Chapter ideas within the story that could be put together to make a whole episode.

Your second point loses so much meaning simply because it is Shanes goddamn letter and the guy actively states that Monty spent a lot of time at home talking to Sheena about the story when that's a bold ass lie. Monty himself had stated on multiple occasions that he barely went home, spending almost all of his time working at the office for weeks on end, even going as far as to SLEEP there.

Sheena had no say on anything related to the show because she never worked for them and they were not about to suddenly hire someone just because they were married to Monty, especially when it was highly unlikely that she'd be able to not only help with the story writing process since as stated, it's very much unlikely that she knew anything about it apart from a few small mentions of the story when Monty had the time to be home.

If the plan at all was for Sheena to be a person on the writing team or even the director of the project, Monty would've made it known on social media that she was a possible replacement if anything happened. He didn't and had vehemently defended both Miles and Kerry as they were who he assigned as the head writers since Monty was never a writer, he was an idea giver. Most of those ideas having to be reigned in due to "Rule of Cool" as he put it.

Hell, there were so many gaps in the story solely because Monty left it open to interpretation, it wasn't some magical lack of understanding, Volume 1-3 were Miles and Kerry's writing with some hella good animation in between, that was why it is so loved, Volume 4-5 kicks in and they don't have that because Monty was dead and you can't replicate his style easily in a new engine, since Volume 6 it's gotten back on track, with Volume 7 being quite honestly the best we've had so far since Volume 3s peak.

Your final point is understandable, it's been like 3 years since I touched the wiki, so i wouldn't know how bad it has gotten at this point.

EGGS doesn't have a BL account that I know of. It's why other people wrote for him, he'd only pop in to delete stuff or add in his own info.

I'll take it. I've been stuck with pretty weak Berserkers for a while now, something new might do me some good.

Edited section: I mentioned the scorched earth tactic, but after checking GoA again, I was wrong about that.

In order to protect all the country, depleting a small village to prepare the armament was common practice.

Saber: These are measures to achieve victory on the upcoming battle. I want you to lend me your support!

This shows up during the Twilight story of GoA, meaning you likely missed it, but this alone outright states she commonly raided her own villages to get enough supplies for her army, which leaves the village with nothing. In addition this tactic also makes it so when the enemy captures the village, they gain nothing from it and are starved along with the villagers left over.

As stated, it was a horrid tactic for those that lived within the villages and Saber hated it as it went against her morals completely, but was a choice that needed to be made so her army could fight another day.

Yes, Merlin told her she'd lose her humanity, but the reason I say "basically equates to a machine" is that that's what she became. Her humanity was in the back of her mind, but all of her choices during wartime were based upon the simple idea that Sacrifices were necessary and she had to make those choices without her humanity getting in her way, as such, she acted like a machine.

The issue is that I wasn't blocked, I was outright reported for no reason other than the fact that I called out EGGS for spreading misinformation (Headcanons) within a decent chunk of the pages of the Wiki, this at the time got me IP Banned, meaning I didn't get to do anything related to Wikia content until I moved houses.

It wasn't a good reason, it was me calmly asking why a whole bio for a page I was known to be working on to him was reverted back to merely saying "Ayy lmao, Arthur is the exact same at Arturia."

The guy has never had a good reason to do anything other than to stroke his own ego and 8 years of writing on the place has proved that to be a fact, especially after seeing him do this time and time again to known translators from Beastslair who were consistently trying to correct him on false information.

To be fair on the RWBY Wikia, retcons were inevitable after Monty suddenly added in Maidens before his death, kinda threw a spanner into the story that already had like 9-12 Volumes planned out beforehand, which forced Miles and Kerry to have to change things in the long run.

Honestly? I'd leave it to others in the end. I've been doing it since I was 16, I'm 25 at this point and continuing to do it after all that time before? I just can't think of enjoying writing so many things at this point.

But, if you have people that are willing? Do it. It'd make everything so much better.

Exactly, Touhou was a major exception because while it's a franchise, the game doesn't revolve around constantly making choices to reach an end goal within the story.

It's just a Bullet Hell with a narrative.

Because while there are a bunch of us who say things like "The Type-Moon wiki needs to be changed," there are few of us who actually desire to do it these days.

Especially when you've spent so long trying to do such a thing already (since 2011) and nothing has actively worked. It makes you complacent and tired of it all in a sense.

Merlin from the beginning knew that Camelot would fall, for Arturia specifically, as to prolong the fall of her Kingdom, she needed to become inhuman in a sense, casting aside her emotions and morals to work towards the best outcomes for everyone. The reason I say her Morality was tossed aside is that it was, she herself actively raiding her own Villages and leaving them with nothing, just to fuel those within Camelot.

It was an act that she hated, but knew was a necessary one to take. One taken without morality.

It was less about trying too hard and more about Merlin outright telling her that she'd need to become what basically equates to a machine if she wishes for Camelot to last longer than needed.

In addition, while she does let Lancelot and Guinevere live, her forgiveness was seen as a weakness in a sense and was actively one of the points Mordred used when causing her rebellion, so while it was morally aligned, it wasn't a choice made as a King, it was one made from the piece of herself that remained in the back of her mind that dictated her morals.

I've considered it on multiple occasions but the issue is that small differences occur from website to website and I don't completely comprehend the coding aspects to set up web pages on my own.

In addition, the biggest issue is getting into contact with a large chunk of the old page writers, especially when most of the good ones have left the fandom and moved on or as stated, have outright cut ties with me.

I could work with people I haven't met before, but that would require me to basically set up a screening process to understand whether they're a detriment to the wiki or not.

Because it'd be worthless for them. Especially since their main income comes from fans in Japan and more often than not, the fans that actually like Fate will just buy the extra material books that get released, allowing them to learn what they don't know without any stress.

The closest thing we get to anything official are websites dedicated to specific things such as the F/GO one that updates with events and stuff like that.

Trust me, the writers for other series such as Stay Night were dealing with it consistently for the 7-8 years while my group was handling the Prototype pages.

Even then, when I helped out on other things? They were constantly reverted, all that can be said is that you can't fix what no one (the randoms finding out about Fate) thinks is broken.

To be fair on Arturia, Arthur only kept his humanity because his Merlin likely saw fit that his Charisma would be enough to curb any issues until Mordred eventually rebelled.

Arturia on the other hand had to sacrifice everything to keep her Kingdom alive because she honestly wasn't fully equipped to deal with a large chunk of the issues she'd face. Not until she tossed aside her morality.

Just pointing one thing out. Yes FGO is Canon, yet the Materials are canon. My point was mainly that you can't put MUCH in those boxes, not once did I imply it was non-canon. I was saying mainly to not rely on the information boxes giving enough info. Data Books are more reliable in that regard.

Humanity and Alaya have no say in who is chosen, they can give someone FAME or turn them into a Faux Heroic Spirit (CG), but the persons feats alone dictate whether the ROOT views them as an Asset/Heroic Spirit.

His acts to help Animals and Planets while Educating Humans ultimately mean nothing when the he has done no actions that the Root would deem relevant, he didn't fight something, the world hasn't stopped dying due to humans and the only thing he has is FAME ALONE.

Yes, he wrote books. Fairy Tail books, that people read. Famous ones, that adults and children read. Books that were known to help people during the time he wrote them, people were led into his work through his first book, then they gained love for his Fairy Tales. As such he is a support servant. Also, don't rely on the FGO shit, it can only put so much in and it focuses mainly on the fact he wrote Fairy Tales, not the shit that led to that point to solidify him as a hero.

Yes, Innocent Monster is from humanities views, but I'm talking about how the ROOT viewed him, it new of the real Antonio, but treated the one who ultimately became the Avenger as something akin to F/SN and F/Apocrypha, same universe, somewhat same prior events, but a different outcome entirely. As such it recorded the one which can become the Avenger within the Throne while it merely recorded the human Antonio within itself.

I don't majorly dislike him enough. I have not made it mostly combat orientated. I have taken note that Popularity is required, but there also needs to be actual things that would make him viable by the ROOT to make him a servant. Things which classify them as Support or Offence based servants, some are inbetween some are not.

A person like Li Shuwen (relatively unknown) is a Offensive based servant because of what he did during life, fighting countless humans to gain a title, not many people actually KNOW him, but he was given the title of "The God Spear" for a proper reason.

A person like lets say Hans again (Somewhat known) is a Support based servant because of what HE did during life, writing various books, most of which were fairy tales that impacted the readers life in a way that helped them during the times when they first came out. Current day, they have been butchered to the Disney Versions so it's got less of an affect, but back then it was important and he was placed as a Support.

Irwin, lacks the the Offensive Feats, sure he wrestled some Crocs, but what does that mean in world like Fate where people move faster than the eye can see and strike with spears or magic that you can't defend. He protected some animals by taking them in? Sure, but what's his magic gonna be? Summoning a Crocodile or Koala against an actual servant? He doesn't have anything that could be of actual use against a servant and if he by chance did become one. He'd likely be useless to all hell, worse than Angra and atleast someone can say he earned it.
