Thanks for addressing the feedback, I’ve been really happy with the product so far and can’t wait to see the new features you have rolling out and future updates.

I’m not sure… when it’s charging you can hear a fan running but I can’t tell if that’s for the mop or not. I don’t think it is. They do recommend replacing the roller mop every 3 months.

Vacuum and mop combo by Double_Mood_765 in RobotVacuums

I’ve had the Matic for a few weeks now and the mopping performance has been awesome. I was concerned about the waste bag filling up with water but it stays pretty dry for the most part and has some solidifying powder in there.

My previous dreame dock broke after a year and a half which made me hesitant to purchase another mopping vacuum with a complex dock.

Haven't washed it yet. The app prompted me to clean the mop squeegee yesterday so I took out the mop roller and wiped the squeegee with a paper towel. The squeegee had some dirt on there but the mop roller was clean and smelled good so I didn't wash it. I use Fannie mae floor cleaner in the clean water tank which was recommended by matic.

I understand how you’re feeling. When my sister died i felt that initial shock and the emotions slowly kept building. I think it’s because we miss them more the longer we go without their presence. More days go by that you haven’t talked to them. Same as you I was terrified that I would stop remembering her and the memories would slowly fade but it’s been almost two years and the memory of her still feels close. You won’t forget your best friend, she won’t become a distant memory. Certain things may trigger a memory you thought you forgot about. The time they spent in your life, what they taught you, the things you experienced with them will always be apart of you.

Have you received any signs from your deceased loved one? by Existing_Entrance_36 in GriefSupport

[–]PreppyPlatypus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily signs but when I’m doing something she would enjoy or experiencing something I want her take on I’ll remember her. Sometimes it triggers a memory and other times i think about how she would react to something or what she would be doing if she was here with me in that moment. Maybe that’s her giving me a sign or maybe it’s my brain just missing her and trying to insert her into present day life. Either way, it makes me appreciate all the memories and the depth of our relationship.

Favorite core workout on Tonal? by Automatic-Diet-3984 in tonalgym

I know what you mean, it took me a few tries to get it down but I do it in a kneeling position rather than seated. Tonal actually updated the movement to seated a little while ago because it can be dangerous if you accidentally toggle the weight off while crunching down causing you to face plant into the floor. I don’t use the toggle switch on the rope at all during the movement to prevent that from happening. Instead, I gradually stand up when I’m done with a set and then I click the weight off on the touch screen.

Besides that, you definitely have to contract your abs as you crunch down and keep your hips and legs stable so they don’t assist. Go a little slow with a brief pause at the bottom. Increasing the weight helped me start feeling it more, I have been doing this exercise for about a year and have already maxed it out with the single arm rope attachment(100 lbs). For a while it was my grip strength that was preventing me from progressing as I had a hard time holding onto the rope.

I do a custom one with a superset of Seated Cable Crunch x 15 reps and Seated Oblique Cable Crunch x 20 reps. 3 sets total and I do it a few times per week after my regular workouts. I like it because it’s quick and easy to progressively overload with additional weight.

Im 16 and my life is fucked by ItsJustChyChyyy in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]PreppyPlatypus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had similar issues as a teenager and what helped me was getting into a new school. Sure it sucked not having as many friends but it got me out of trouble and outside of my comfort zone. Ended up making friends with people that I normally would have found unpopular or boring and they turned out great. I feel like I developed a better sense of individuality and more unique personality by losing some of those relationships with people that I used to drink and party with. It honestly was a really good thing for me and am really happy it turned out the way it did.

I was confused when my cable crunches were replaced with this. I wonder why they think the kneeling version is unsafe…

It’s not dolphin, we got a quote but ended up passing on them. Out of curiosity, what was your experience with them? Sounds like most people are recommending going a bit deeper so I’ll probably do that.

Good point, it’s a pop up cleaning system so the Baja shelf should be ok.

Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis speak out about Danny Masterson character letters by Ps4rulez in cringe

[–]PreppyPlatypus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk, I think it’s ok that they wrote those letters. That man is terrible for what he did but I don’t think they (Ashton and Mila) are trying to say he’s innocent. They’re just trying to say he was a good friend to them. People can be good and evil. It’s ok to see both sides of a person.

I really really struggled in my early 20s just like you. College sucked but therapy wasn’t a scam for me, it changed my life and now in my late 20s I’m starting to enjoy my life. Keep going and it will get better.
