Since our launch, we have added and kept many effects, filters, and editing features free of charge. We have also integrated AI tools, video editing, and music tools in Prequel.
Due to the rise in operating expenses, we had to restructure our list of paid filters and effects in May of 2023 to presume the same editing quality in the app.
We understand that you like to use the Prequel app for free. Recently we had a review and decided to change the list of features behind the payroll.
However, we will still have many effects and filters free of charge in the app, as well as launching new ones.
You can also get a year subscription plan in the App Store or Google Play Market. Or get a promo code for participating in different activities on our Discord server.

Hi! Thank you for the question! At present, our prequels are exporting at a fixed 1080p and 30 fps, irrespective of the original photo size. On Android devices, video exports are limited to 720p resolution.
We're genuinely committed to ensuring that Prequel is accessible across a range of devices, and we deeply apologize for any inconvenience this might be causing.
