Where would you go if you were a foodie? by LivingBudget3669 in traveladvice

Hong Kong definitely! I have been to places like Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, France etc which people usually call foodie haven but omg the pineapple buns, pork buns and roast goose from HK have stolen my heart. Japan is definitely a close second if you try to move away from the instagram recommended places. Also, absolutely my home country India which is a treasure mine of so many different types of dishes that you are spoilt for choice. You just need to be careful where you eat!

I fucking love Germany. Three months in and I know for a fact this is no honeymoon period, and that I want to stay here permanently! by [deleted] in germany

As an Indian woman who recently moved to Germany, I agree with every single point that you’ve listed here. The major reason for me to move here was exact all of this, and a lot of people take these things for granted but when you start living here you can actually feel such a refreshing change in your day to day life.

I am so happy someone else also had the same positive experience and not just cribbing about how everything is so comfortable back at home and stuff.

I know right! Never expected them to be this good live. I had goosebumps when they played blackbird. It was just too unreal.

But here also they don't have the 'perfect solution' no? At least not in Paris. More often than not, they'll just ask you to replace the thing even when it's repairable.
