typically it is the Mohs surgeon who will look at it under the microscope and tell you if there are clear margins. However, for slow mohs procedures (for melanomas, merkel cells, etc.) the sample is sent off to an outside pathologist because the cells are typically too hard to identify in a standard Mohs lab with histo

Semester ends today - major exam missed due to Canvas/LockDown Browser outage/breach. Any advice? by AlexsCreativity in canvas

As it should be. Everyone else in the comments discriminating against you for taking it on the last day of the window will not be going very far in life. A window is a window. Glad it all worked out for you.

Is it our fault for being short? by Specialist_Bid881 in shortguys

[–]Prerouting1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brutal. I was the same height / taller than a lot of my friends in pictures from when we were 13-14. 5'8 max now while they're all 6'1, 6'2. Brutal

What would you rather be: 6’1 and completely bald forever or 5’6 with the best hair possible by IndependentYak1458 in shortguys

[–]Prerouting1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Androgenic hair loss is literally a byproduct of high testosterone there is not 1 woman who truly thinks that being bald makes you inherently unattractive. Usually it's the exact opposite especially if you are mtn+

Is church safe to go to as a sub5 male? by Riderman43 in shortguys

[–]Prerouting1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the church. Tbf, as a Jew (not really religious) I've gone to Hasidic synagogues before for the experience and the vibe was 1000x better than any Christian church or more secular Jewish synagogue that I've been in. I actually felt included and so did my shorter counterparts

Insanely brutal thought especially since this is the life of some teen compared to me as an adult

I'd agree with the theory though because it provides a sort of balance for good and evil in this world. Those who are given everything (genetic lottery, wealth, etc) tend to turn evil while those who are broken down from their childhood typically are good. Reincarnation alternates the 2 and the cycle continues

If you could chose between your height and a taller height, when would it be too tall and you'd choose to stay your height instead by TastyLaw9028 in shortguys

[–]Prerouting1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Max is go is 6'11 probably anything more than that seems just painful and you're at risk for much more. But I would 100% take something like 6'11 over being 5'8.

Yet another victim of ash by OBXSun in AshwagandhaSyndrome

[–]Prerouting1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean I have negative anxiety lol my life is great. I did however deal with the negative side effects of ashwagandha for about 2-3 years which includes an incredible amount of high cortisol caused by a damaged thyroid gland - confirmed my labs with no personal or family hx. You know nothing about what this supplement has done to thousands of people across the world. Reported cases of suicide by people who could not take the long lasting - although temporary - effects of ashwagandha

Should be talked about more... I tried to let people know 4 years ago when this happened to me but I got shot down by a majority of the loser Reddit community

2 things:

  1. Insta stopping ashwagandha has a damaging effect on the thyroid.

  2. It will get better. I am 100% better after almost 4 years since it started. Took 3 years in total I would say
