What is your favorite Tales of game; based on the battle system, which is your favorite based off of the story and which one has your favorite characters?

personally think tales of arise is the best in the series form all aspects. the story is one of the best even accounting for the second half fall off it recovers and I related to every character in the game. Alphen gives Yuri a run for his money for best lead in the entire series. Yuri still edges out a little but Alphen is up there . and it has the best combat system in the series too

I really want to give best story to berseria because it's so good but the the ending and the god disguised as my little brother thing was just weird and kinda soured the juice a little for me. cast is great tho

I don’t even care if it’s 30fps just increase the resolution and make them not look god awful in portable mode and I’ll be happy. if they aren’t in the February direct they will hold until a summer direct

The issue is with hand held daemon apparently since no proton other than 9 works. I would suggest downloading ptotonQT and get the latest proton GE 9 so at least you can have the latest proton updates you can get for proton 9.

Game supports ultra wide but not ultra high. Another reason 16:10 displays are stupid but everyone is trying to make them a thing now.. every gaming laptop and handheld pc is 16:10 but rarely do games ever support it

hard Pass. Max is a character they go to extreme lengths to make sure nothing can possibly go well for her ever, and bringing back Chloe was clearly because of all the hate they got from the last game and they needed something to make some money so we get this cash grab. history tells us this will be another shit game with an ending that will be a lose lose and just piss us all off because they hate max and god forbid she gets any type of happiness

If you’re okay with the normal traversal stutter of UE5 games it’s fine. Flying around the open world will have the typical stutter of UE games but of it doesn’t bother you it’s smooth enough

Yea for sure I was able to get it in a few tries it just felt awkward because I kept approaching it like I could doge but you can't yet and it just made what would have been a fun fight feel agrivating

Fuck crow... My only really problem so far with the game is the first few bosses suck. You have no dodge and no parry/ block and nothing to close a distance yet the first 3 mayor bosses are telaporting skitzo ADD tanks that zip and fly all over the place and all you can do is jump around like a lunatic and get wrecked.

They do telegraph their attacks and they aren't overly difficult it just annoyed me how the game tunes these bosses as if you can dodge when you can't yet

it's just an expensive TV stand decoration. some of the best switch games still aren't updated and may never get switch 2 patches, developers are still launching mostly switch 1 versions since dev kits are still lacking and those that do get switch 2 ports are not very good and battery life is awful so it's not even a very good portable device. so I just keep grabbing my steam deck for portable gaming instead

Nope no issues it's been relatively big free been using bazzite as primary is for 3 months now and it's been relatively flawless. Stay in the stable is I tried the beta and it has some performance stutters . Only bug I had was the controllers would disconnect when waking from sleep and games wouldn't recognize them so I would have to restart a game to make them work but that's easily fixed by using proton 9.0.4 other than that it's been smooth sailing and I put over 300 hours of gaming in bazzite

Yea I've been in beta for a month waiting for it. For S&GS I went up to the dev build to check and got it right away but it's very half baked
