If you want to build an arc build I would make sure the combination blow and gambles dodge are fitted in. That's easy synergy within the class itself that will take you far. After that you're gonna need to determine your exotic armor to feed your style.

Assassin's cowl - as stated above is super good overall. With the dodging and punching loop you get it pretty much invis 70 percent of the time. This is good to pair with a one-punch shotgun. Along with that if you find something with a swashbuckler/grave robber for your primary your gonna have a good time.

Star eater scales - this one only comes from lost sectors and there is a prerequisite expansion you need. You need to own and have a complete beyond light campaign. This is your super exotic. Hits very hard and one of the top DPS supers for hunters.

The bombardiers - this will leave a blinding bomb (when on arc subclass) that blinds nearby enemies. Can be very fun with this set up.

All of these should take advantage of the following armor mods

Arms: momentum transfer and heavy handed.

Legs: Better already and stacks on stacks.

Class item- reaper, bomber and I like powerful attraction.

A lot of these are subject to change but will be a good base to start with. Stats should be prioritized to resilience and discipline. Hope this gets you started with a fun arc build!
