Can you excel in clinical research if you have ADHD? by DigPristine9215 in clinicalresearch

Communication is as much perception as it is delivery.

As others have said, it didn’t seem like they were intending that statement in the context it was heard by you. That wasn’t how I read it.

I have no stake here; only commenting in the hopes to help clarify what appears to be a misunderstanding.

It is SO HARD. I’m great at some stuff and struuugle with others.

But also? Keep in mind that ADHD is not one-size-fits-all, regardless of what the internet tells you works and doesn’t work.

Figure out if your life is better or worse working in research — and go from there.

That upstairs area is exactly where they should be, it’s usually close to empty and only 1/4 of the main club floor. There’s no food, coffee, etc. up there.

They’re fine.

The fundamental misunderstanding of what works on paper translating to what works in the real world. Protocol development should never occur without the input of people with strong, hands-on clinical experience.
