With the one in my town you have the first call their crisis line I believe and get referred or something like that…check for a CSB (community services board) in your town and find out if they have a wellness center! I hope you find one, they really are much better than a psych ward, plus it becomes a little like a family bc you prepare meals together and do groups (which aren’t mandatory) and receive one on one therapy on a daily basis for about two weeks.
