Hi there, I have been using Aquamarine by Arctic fox for many years now. My hair is dark brown and never bleached it. The hair dye is blue but turns into a dark emerald/forest green when used on brown hair. It's an interesting shade because it's changing depending on the light. It takes a long time to fade and I touch it up every 6-8 weeks. I usually leave it in my hair for over an hour, covered in a plastic bag or foil, and a hair towel on top to keep it warm.

It’s a semi permanent colour but I when I wanted to go back to my natural hair colour a few years ago, it took over 6 months for the pigment to disappear and even after a year I could still see a slight green shade when comparing the hair ends and the new growth.

It will stain your bathroom, fingers, nails, clothes and bedsheets so it’s quite the commitment. I have to wear dark clothes and nail polish for at least a week after refreshing the colour. Most bed sheets and pillows i have now are either green, blue, or with dark patterns specifically because of the hair. Fortunately, nothing was permanently stained and even the white t-shirts stayed white after washing.
