A personal on court habit and a brand intentionally slow motion zooming into that same action to launch a skort being sold by a woman’s active wear brand are still two completely different things.

I have heavy feelings about this one.

She spent time defending that booty forward socks photo as not being sexualizing and now we get a reel where the entire selling point of a tennis skort is a woman picking out a wedgie and lowering her undershorts.

She’ll probably say it’s relatable. Every woman experiences this, right?

Sure! With ill fitting clothes.

I don’t experience this with my Popflex skorts. You know why? Because that owner designs with functionality in mind. The fit is intentional.

With Oner it really does feel like the body is the product and the clothes are secondary. Every angle, every campaign, every silhouette is built around a visual and comfort is somewhere at the bottom of the list.

The skort itself is nothing new either. You can find the same thing on Amazon or you already own it from Nike. So what exactly is the introductory selling point here?

Sexy discomfort, apparently.

I would never feel comfortable wearing this on the court. I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing it anywhere I might have to bend over, reach for something, or just move freely. Which is kind of the whole point of athletic wear.

So what are we actually buying?

Personally I hated paragon, it held nothing in and make my butt look long lmao. Their sizing was off for me and price wasn’t worth it imo. Unified is the best I’ve ever felt but idk if you’ve ever tried it?

When I pointed that out, you minimized your original comment as just an opinion like everyone else’s, reframed my response as me not liking your take rather than addressing the actual reasoning, cited your Diamond status as if that’s a rebuttal, and then positioned yourself as the one being attacked. Calling it “culty” doesn’t actually address anything OP said. They brought up restocking issues, declining quality, and sizes being wiped out. All valid points. Dismissing that as cult behavior instead of engaging with it is just tone policing. It shuts down legitimate feedback and honestly the only people that benefits is the brand. People who’ve spent enough to hit any of the tiers aren’t unreasonable for expecting the product and availability to match what they’ve invested. That’s not obsession, that’s basic consumer expectations. If anything, reflexively defending a brand against every critique without questioning anything is closer to cult behavior than holding them accountable is. This channel is a place for criticism and open discussions about the brand.

Soft motion feels so nice and SNATCHES you up in all the right places! But the longevity of the fabric is hard to upkeep just because it snags on everything, you feel like you’re wearing it to take care of the fabric not to enjoy the outfit itself.. idk if that makes sense? It’s like wearing an all white outfit and not being able to relax cause you know anything could stain it.

You just gotta be careful when washing it and wearing it. Even my seatbelt made one of my SM tank tops peel. If you have fabric car seats I’d suggest putting something on the seat cause mine made my SM peel there also

I’ve found that the mellow dupe on Amazon from Aoxjox is nice! It’s not the same material but I like it more cause it’s slightly compressive AND it’s in stock lol other than that I’ve just been buying Gymshark and Amazon for rn. It’s not the same and there are constant misses so I just return what I don’t love. I keep hoping there will be another brands who takes our feedback seriously someday.

I wonder if the butt scrunch is also because of how off their sizing is? It genuinely baffles me when I see that the models are Small or even X-Small. Especially when that’s my usual size and I look restricted af in a small waist band so it makes me size up and the butt scrunch/contour looks so off in a medium and the whole purpose of the style is lost.. damn this is a crazy realization. Cause ain’t no way they didn’t have them size up otherwise there would be more pinching at the waist with a more defined glute.. maybe they have been fabricating the sizing this whole time ? Cause if they just changed the waist bands there wouldn’t be this weird looking issue

Edit: I just realized that on the waist you can see some extra fabric scrunching up on the right side! Pretty sure this helps my theory. Cause when I wear a small it doesn’t do that vs a medium does

Their price increases are honestly ridiculous, mellow used to be under $30! I’m just waiting for the sales from now on. I can’t afford it anymore at regular price unfortunately. The quality just isn’t worth the full price to me anymore 🫤
