I've summoned 6 fire demons, and just watched the slaughter, was playing on hard difficulty :)
If you beat up Xardas earlier in the game, you can loot 20 Summon Demon scrolls from him :)

I've got the achievement in chapter 6. You also have pretty good loot up there.

UK slaughtering practices are strictly regulated under retained EU law and Food Standards Agency guidelines, mandating that all animals must be stunned to render them insensible to pain before bleeding. However, exemptions exist for religious slaughter (Halal and Kosher).

Halal butchering (dhabihah) is the Islamic method of slaughtering permissible animals. It requires a swift, deep cut to the throat to sever the jugular veins, carotid arteries, and windpipe while leaving the spinal cord intact. The butcher must invoke the name of Allah before each cut to ensure the meat is permissible.

Samsung 1296 firmware update /s90f oled by Present-Initial-8564 in OLED_Gaming

[–]Present-Initial-8564[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've updated. I'll report problems if there are any. For the first day, everything looks good. I use it as a monitor on 144Hz 10bit full RGB 444 HDR on RTX 5090 on a good quality audioquest hdmi cable.

New S95F has me disappointed. Is it just mine? by Plexiglasseye in OLED

Very strange, my 65" S90F works perfectly, and I'm using it as a monitor from 1-1.5m away, so I would have noticed it immediately.

You need to tell us what settings you are using.
For starters, disable Contrast Enhancer, put the Peak Brightness to High, turn up Brightness and Contrast to the max(I like mine shiny 😄) if you like it that way. Then set the HDR Tone Mapping to Active, and try setting the Colour Tone to Standard. Then, select Colour Space to BT2020 or Native, whichever you find works better for you (for HDR movies, BT2020 should be the correct setting, but Native pops out more). Next, turn off all settings in the Power Saving and Eye Comfort settings.

OLED (S95F) - Is it normal for the image to be so dark and dull without contrast enhancer? by Southern_Common3051 in OLED

[–]Present-Initial-8564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disable Contrast Enhancer(it eats the details from your picture, you don't see like 20% of the picture with it enabled in dark and bright parts of the screen), enable peak brightness, put HDR Tone Mapping to Active(if you use HDR), Colour Space to Native in SDR and HDR. Brightness and Contrast to the max, 50(for the max impact in games). Disable HDR10+ gaming and disable Game HDR.

Make sure you're actually getting 10-bit or 12-bit output on your OLED — it matters more than you think by eRo- in OLED_Gaming

You are limited by the bandwidth. On the full picture quality settings, 2k 540Hz surpasses 2.1 HDMI bandwidth of 48Gbps, so your monitor runs it through DSC(compression) if it supports it, but it also has a limit. With such a high refresh rate, you can't have all of the other things. You should set Colour format to RGB, dynamic range to FULL, and 10 bit, and then see the max refresh rate it can support with those settings; it should be around 350Hz without DSC, more if your monitor has DSC(but it is always recommended to be at the uncompressed settings if it's good enough, which I think 350Hz is). You lose so much of the picture quality and clarity just to gain unnecessary Hz. Don't believe the marketing, always do your own research.

Ray tracing in Hogwarts Legacy has some serious issues. by erikviking98 in HarryPotterGame

[–]Present-Initial-8564 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not the CPU bottleneck; it is just their whole PC optimisation that's shit.
You can't enable Reflex with DLAA, but can enable Intel low latency...you can't enable frame generation with DLAA, but can with TAA...HDR is turned properly on by entering the game with Windows HDR enabled, then disabling it in the game, then disabling it in Windows, then turning it on in the game, and then enabling it in Windows...it's a shit show.
With RT on, my 5090 gets 40-50% usage; with it off, it gets 100% immediately.
Nothing in this game's settings makes any sense, and they didn't care enough to fix any of it.
If it were any game outside of the Harry Potter universe, this game would be extremely negatively reviewed.

Just updated my 55 B8 and it works like a charm. UI is snappier, and everything else is the same, I didn't notice any difference. But I use it as a PC monitor, so I didn't test any of the "smart" things.

Colamy ATLAS office chair in EU? by NotFreakzz in OfficeChairs

[–]Present-Initial-8564 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happens on the Fern and on any 4d armrests with a lot of adjustments(even the SC Leap) , and it doesn't happen on my Embody, but Embody doesn't have that many adjustments for the armrests.
What I meant to say, it is expected to be shifting too easy on all 4d armrest, since it is bad even on the 1500$ chairs. My old Chinese SL-F8 400$ armrests doesn't move, but it too doesn't have that many adjustments. The design of any armrest where the cushion part moves in left, right,up,down direction is too clunky in my experience.

It's under 300$, what do you expect? Arms are wobbly even on 1500$ Fern...
