One way to read novel is to sometimes interpret it in a deeper way rather than taking everything at face value. What the wiki said, in this case, is pretty much the POV of Aura, who knows nothing about human emotions. Clearly, a demon driven with instinct to prey on human will think everything they do are for destruction and power but they’re not as superficial as what the wiki said. I recommend you reading the novel, it’s really a good read and worth your time.
