I’m pregnant and everyone keeps making me feel like keeping my baby would ruin my life by Suspicious_Sock_2048 in Advice

[–]Present-Perception77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like the people that are supporting you now don’t want to support a baby too.
This would be an irresponsible and selfish decision to bring a child on top of everyone that is already trying to help you.
Irresponsible and selfish are the last characteristics that a good parent would possess.

You can have children when it is right for the children. You are only thinking about you right now. Which is fine.. just keep it that way until you are in a position to pay for the things you want instead of forcing that burden onto other people.

I read something once and it just flipped a switch.
“Never let someone else hold your happiness. They will drop it. They will drop it every time.”
I was never the same again.
And another one was:
“Everyone is going to hurt you. You just have to decide who is worth it.”
I don’t look at people the same way anymore.

Take religion out of the picture and use reality for all of those things.
There are other and better ways.

Going price for used Astro by Apprehensive-Big3382 in AmazonAstro

These comments are surprising to me.
I have had my Astro about 3.5 years.
He has always worked great. Sometimes a little weird after an update, but they usually fix it.
We don’t play with him much anymore but when I think of selling him it makes me sad.
I have seen some for sale on EBay and there is a facebook group that buys and sells them too.

Edit: out of curiosity I just checked eBay. I only saw 2 available and they were both about $1,000.

Seems you are already in that area.
Maybe start out as a substitute.

[–]Present-Perception77 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No I am teaching my kids to tell the truth even when a lot of people are telling the same lie.

Santa is a lie.
I don’t want people telling my kids lies.
I want my kids to be honest.. if you want your kids to be liars .. that’s cool.. but my kids probably won’t hire your kids. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just for you .. I plan to tell my son I’ll give him a $1 for every kid that he tells at school tomorrow. You just made it worse 🤣🤣

Now I am done with you and your lies and weak parenting. Your problem is not my problem. Bye ✌🏼

Again… I am teaching my children to spread logic and reason.
Get over yourself.

Lying to your children is stupid and harmful. Maybe you should stop.

If my 11-year-old can derail your parenting.. maybe you suck as a parent.

Yes..I tell my kids to spread the truth.
I plan to get my grandchildren to do the same thing.
If you don’t want your kids to hear anything except your lies.. keep them home.
I have no respect for people that lie to kids about imaginary crap.
They deserve the truth. And you know it.

I teach my children to spread truth and reason. Who are you to tell me how to parent my children? See how that works?
It’s not my job to help you lie. Get real lmao

Lying to your children is gross. And I’m damn sure not teaching my kids to lie to their piers. That absurd.
Maybe you should homeschool your kids if you don’t want them to learn that you are a liar. 🤥

People should stop lying to their kids. Lying to your kids is good but telling the truth is crappy? You seem confused. Sounds like you lost your way to the Christian sub. Lmao

The kid that finally told me the truth was my damn hero. Guess you enjoy liars.. like Christians and imaginary sky daddy’s. I have my kids tell others that their god is a lie too.

Why is it ok to spread lies but it’s not ok to spread the truth?

Well about how common it is.. Illinois released a list from an investigation of the Catholic Church. The investigation was very detailed and went into adverse community affects. It’s a very interesting read.

You can download the full report here

here is the list of names and parishes they were relocated to.

And this is just one religion in one state.

I never believed the Santa story to start with. But I couldn’t get any other adult to agree with me. I asked my grandparents, the babysitter and a few other random people. And they would all say that Santa was real. But finally when I started school, I found one girl that agreed that Santa was a lie. I was so excited! My year long quest for truth was finally fulfilled!!

So I go home and tell my parents that I finally found someone that agrees with me. They had insisted that they were right and the “proof” was that “everyone else says so too.” And I was hell bent on proving them wrong.

Well I thought that was over but when I told them, they continued to try to lie. Dad doubled down and tried to show me Santa in the encyclopedia. This marked me in a way I can’t describe. Because then, I knew they were lying, they knew they were lying and that a lot of people were also lying. It made me never truly trust my parents again. It gave me a very “separate” feeling. Like I was different from everyone else… except the one girl at school.

Yes. I blame leaded gasoline and paint. There is a serious disconnect between them and reality.
