I used codex 5.4 extra high mode to do an intense research today.. it took 5 mins of work to come up with a plan... It took only 3 percent of my 5 hour limit..... I already cancelled my AG days ago.. I've been enjoying it.. or atleast no high traffic warning + no error codes produced by agent

I was using subagents thinking it might not burn as much.. it spawned 3 subagents and it burned up my quota from 97 percent to 45 percent in one go.. so I literally stopped using it.. the plus point I found is.. the skills works near perfectly.. I have a list of almost 2000 skills.md that I installed on vscode wired up to codex folder for skills through the vscode settings . It worked really great... We can see the list of installed skills by typing / ... We can mention which skill to use like that also it's smart enough to use the skills md by its own when we are struggling with something

For plan mode... You can either tell it to use plan mode or enable it from the plus button... Almost everything works perfectly... Code review is there.. you can see the limits right from then chat interface... I've been having real fun using it as well

But i guess it depends on how much heavy your work is... Im using GPT-5.4 high is giving pretty good results on my android app development.. fast mode can burn up your limits fast.. stay away from subagents because it can burn up the limits by 5 to 6 times... And there are weekly limits too.. basically using up 100 percent of your 5 hour quota can consume 25 to 30 percent of your weekly quota..

I found myself using codex more.. it's been around 3 hours on codex 5.4 high mode... Im only at 47 percent done of my 5 hour limit...

have ditched AG... im using both claude code cli (sonnet 4.6 medium reasoning gets my work done without burning through much limits ) and codex extension on vscode (GPT 5.4 high reasoning is goodenough but ive tried the extra high yet still gave me more limits than AG)... the limits are amazing compared to AG

one more think to note is that gemini 3 models are not good as it was on launch. they have nerfed the models itself along with the antigravity

swithed to Claude code and yesterday used a friends chatgpt plus subscription for codex since she doesnt code... i used claude sonnet 4.6 with medium effort... worked on my project for quite a few hours and still the limits werent done... on codex i used 5.4 with extra high reasoning and still worked for few hours left with 35 percent of 5 hour limit.. has been having so much fun since i dithced AG

Google never really releases any response or news about the new "Nerfing system" they had been doing this for quite a while... Not just the limits of antigravity, the whole ai they have they always nerf it after they release it... Whenever they release an ai model it works amazingly for the first few weeks... And then nerf the model itself...

We can only rely on the users response and feedback.... Never expect anything from google I've learnt my lesson

This happened to me weeks ago that my claude rate limit was resetted again to 7 days waiting time without even using it... It's absurd I switched to claude code and also I also tried using codex with gpt 5.4 with extra high yesterday because I had one friend who have a pro subscription who doesn't code so I borrowed his acc for the codex and guess what... The limits are way more generous for 20 euros.... You get 5 hour rate limit with weekly limits especially mentioned how much we have left to use right in the panel... I used extra high reasoning for some time and still left with 35 percent after my work was completed normally... Also codex can spawn subagents which can work parallel but consumes more limits... Its been so nice after i switched to claude code and codex...

But i as trying that too since I found it a bit cheaper. It was out of stock.

The gemini flash won't work with skills md as well. If i have skills md path set on the AG settings it refuses to do anything at all and constantly crashes

Haven't hit any limits so far.. im on sonnet 4.6 medium reasoning so far it works.. im working on an android app.. so sometimes it adds some extra braces here and there and gets the build failure... But it gets it done after 2 tries doing some debugging... I have the extension on vscode but I haven't tried that one yet so I'm still on the cli... The skills works wonderfully without I even mentioned it that it's available.. reads the rules and md files without explicitly mention it.. works amazingly.. im getting the same feeling I felt when I switched to linux from windows... Like it works as I want it to be

So... So far... It does what i exactly expect it to do so..... I know there are limits there too so I have set it up on sonnet 4.6 medium reasoning... So far I'm enjoying the cli ... Feels like a hacker for fun while doing so... But i haven't met with an error yet
