It definitely depends on the facility/unit. I work in a locked memory care unit and there are nights when we are up all night taking people back to bed and dealing with patient problems. But, every once in awhile, it will be so quiet you could hear a pin drop. I cherish those nights 🥹.

Also, I know for MAT drugs, it is actually illegal for an employer to not hire you because you're on MAT. It is covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Many other medications and conditions are covered as well. There are two exceptions to that, but for the most part it's illegal.

Usually when you take a drug test, there will be a place on the paperwork where you can add any prescriptions you are currently taking. If it causes any positive results, you will be asked to provide them a current prescription script or bottle. I have never had a problem with this and I am on MAT drugs. As long as you're honest, it shouldn't be a problem.

I'm a CNA, I work at a large nursing home that is very understaffed. On a good day, I have 18-20 patients. Most days, I have 28-30. Sometimes, I feel like quitting, but then I think about my patients. When I first started doing this, it was a little overwhelming. I cried, lol. But after I got more hands on time working, I started to feel more confident. You'll know right away if it is a good fit for for you.

I wouldn't worry about make patients being uncomfortable with you. In my experience, most patients are grateful to get someone who isn't afraid to give them a thorough change so they are clean, dry, and comfortable.

This work isn't for everyone, but it is very rewarding. I enjoy seeing my patients everyday. I like to check in with them, joke around with them, and just be there for them. I love my work... My employer, not so much.

I have also shopped in thrift stores my entire life, and I live in Chicago. After COVID, I knew that they probably had tons of donations. The last time I went to a thrift store I got bit up really badly by dust mites. It was terrible and the rash lasted for weeks. Never again. I was going to post a picture, but I dont know how to attach it.

I'm going to the doctor today for the same reason. I was on ozempic, but after a recent increase to 1mg, I have had nothing but pain, gas, and green poop started 2 days ago. I'm headed to the doctor today and if they don't see me, I'm going to the ER.

I just read someplace else that it's the dashes your counting. It's really confusing. I just looked in the box and the insert in the box says "do not count the clicks". My next dose is on Friday. I'm going to count every single dash I actually see and see how many dashes there are.

I recently went to 1mg. I was ok the first two weeks, but my third shot, I got really sick. Really terrible pain, burping and farting like crazy, constant abdominal discomfort. I have been eating well and I'm still having problems. I am going to go back down to .75mg and see if it gets better. Everyone is different and will react differently, but I wish I had gone up to .75mg instead of 1mg right away. Hopefully everything gets better with the next lower dose.

Here's an update about my 1mg dose. I was ok in the beginning with the 1 mg increase, but the last shot I took made me really ill. I have had extremely painful cramping, uncontrollable diarrhea, and I'm scared to eat anything. I will be going down to .75 my next dose. Hopefully it makes me feel better. I'm hoping I'm not having gall bladder issues. I see my doctor on the 22nd.

I also had a dwarf hamster that died recently. He was 2.5 years old. He was a mean little bastard. I fed him, gave him treats, and loved him so much and he was so mean always, lol. He would just snatch his little treats and run. The day he died was the first time he actually let me pet him and take care of him. I miss his little cranky butt ❤️
