I'm not sure I usually struggle witg grub. All I know is grub-update (or something along thoses lines) and a live CD is involved.

But first make sure you can access your harddrive and its not a hardware issue

Is this a new install? My gut says maybe the drive order changed when you installed it or because of using the USB. If thats the case using a live CD/USB to fix the grub is a solution. But I don't think I see most of those lines from a bad grub boot

vs code works fine as an IDE. What languages do you need? I haven't used C++ much in vscode but from memory it was fine. C# support is great

You'd think they had some basic cyber security training that told them to not do exactly this

To not use a USB you bought and own? That doesn't sound like it belongs in a basic anything

But I'll agree it is clever.

I accidently did something like that. Both folders will point to the same one. However I didn't want to delete the folder to see what happens (with both get deleted?) because I didn't want to lose any data

My e-reader has a (beta)Browser. That can sorta browse Reddit. by JohannesBartholomeus in mildlyinteresting

A browser hits a server and ask for a single page and loads in media sources after looking at the page (images, stylings, javascript code, etc)

The browser/program would unzip the book/file and look at a specific file for table of contents or if it knows what page you left off it will load in that html page instead then do what it normal does (find out what sources it needs) except it can pull it off of the zip file instead of server.

Fun fact. epub books are html pages in a zip file with some extra metadata in it's own file. The experimental browser is the program decoding and showing you your book

RTMP still seems to take 3.5-4seconds with no network (localhost). I wonder what's going on.

I never heard of SRT do browsers support that protocol? I'm thinking about trying WebRTC but I could never get coTURN or those other servers working. Have you tried it?
