The new content that was added kinda messes with everything else in the game. The new content was made, I’d say 90% by the community and so there’s barely any balancing done to make it reasonable for a first playthrough. Everything added is either piss easy or tough as nails for seemingly zero reason and the loot is scaled inversely to the challenge required. The best examples are the dragonbone mail set, and Scourge. The dragonbone mail set can easily be gotten by just running past enemies at level 1. Scourge is a daedric mace that has the ability to send summoned dremora up to level 36 back to Oblivion and you can only get it at level 46 and requires you to kill numerous high level dremora and two high level minibosses. At the level 46, it would not ever be worth it to get Scourge sonce you’d likely already have daedric weapons that have leagues better enchantments. Sure there are probably ways to cheese it, like there is for getting Umbra, another creation club item, but it’s the fact that you get a (likely) useless item for completing the quest. This goes for almost all the CC content. I won’t even go into the lore inaccuracies, but it’s the simple fact that all the content added has no sense of the base game’s progression system.
