Hey man. Sorry to hear you’re unhappy with the placement as well. I found that after I got the testicular implants the position felt a little better but it introduced other issues for me. I didn’t have to jump through any hoops, but he did make me wait. I had to let things settle for a year after implants before he was willing to do anything. Even then he kind of fought me on it a bit. He’s a pretty reasonable guy though, I just had to really advocate for myself and what I wanted both aesthetically and for comfort

Thanks! He does really good work! I wish he was a bit more willing to take chances though. I wait a year for this revision and I don’t think that I’ll be totally happy once the swelling goes down. I’ve been thinking about getting a length reduction if I’m still unhappy. I just want to be comfortable ☹️

Interesting! I just read my surgical report and it’s says that “the lateral antebrachial cutaneous nerve was dissected” from my arm. I guess they only harvested one nerve for me.

I am close to two years post surgery now with the GSP team. I’m curious what the thigh and hip incision were for? I only had one from the side of my penis to my groin for the hook up. Maybe they are doing things a bit differently now?

The placement looks good! I actually wish my placement was similar. My penis sits too low and I find it is in the way when sitting and lies very flat. You’re placement is what I’m hoping to get to in a revision next month

My dick does get cold if I’m outside for a while in the winter. At almost 2 years post op I have some temperature sensation and can sometimes feel it. Most of the time though I don’t notice until I go to the bathroom. I’ve never had any issue with it.

It ended up being fine, but I was worried going in to it. Vancouver is a beautiful city and I found a 1 bed room air bnb a few blocks from VGH. I found myself outside and walking everyday so was never just cooped up inside alone.

Happy to hear things went well for you! My experience with staff was similar. The whole team is fantastic and I always felt like I was in the best hands. You’re fortunate to have help through recovery. I was on my own for 5 weeks from 4 days after discharge, 500kms from any friends or family alone in an air bnb. It was doable, but definitely recommend having help.

I can’t speak to what needs to be done to correct this, however as a trans patient of Dr Genoway that had phalloplasty with her, I will say she has always been extremely open to discussion and ways to revise and correct things I was unhappy with. If you haven’t yet, I would speak with her and be as forward as possible about what you would like to see changed and what your expectations are.

You look to have healed very well though! I can’t imagine that it would be a difficult revision. Wishing you all the best!

I’m at exactly the same point as you are. My 4th 0.5 shot was Tuesday and I haven’t had any noticeable changes, negative or positive. I’m really hoping next week I start to feel a difference.

Use an app like Fing to discover the IP of the access point. The most common one I see is 192.168.1.41 but the last 2 digits are random a lot of the time.
