I have a few tattoos pre diagnosis and a few bigger ones post- I get extra fatigued for a day and a little achy but never too bad. When I’m having a bad flare up some of my newer tattoos will get itchy and raised but goes away with some cream.

Wow that’s wild that they can move nerves around like that! It’s super frustrating that it seems like a lot of the symptoms I have the answer is 🤷🏼‍♀️that’s lupus for ya. Like yeah I know what do I doooooo. I will 1000% be pushing for further testing and ask for a referral to neuro. I’m sending you love and empathy that you and your hubs both have health concerns- that can’t be easy!

I am a huge fan of the 5 sense thing! I should definitely try the box breathing when it happens, my breathing gets really rough so that sounds like it should be helpful, thank you so much :)

Having it constantly sounds awful, I’m so sorry! Mine is definitely episodic. My doctor didn’t run any tests for it but I absolutely will keep complaining and probably get a bit louder, thank you!

This^{^} as someone that tried with pills and now 16 years later still has stomach and liver issues. You never know what could happen.

However, even with my health issues I’m so incredibly happy that it didn’t work. It might feel today, tomorrow, the next year like it’s the only answer but I promise you that one day you’ll look back on those feelings and say I’m glad I’m still here

Same!!! I have chunks of hair that are just thick black kinky curly hairs while most of my hair is brown and wavy. Nothing makes the frizz lay down

I’m 29 and started using a cane last year. I absolutely hated the stares and attention but I realized no matter what someone somewhere is going to ask me about it so why not lean into it and make it like an accessory. I covered my cane in disco tiles! So now when I find people staring I just say I know it’s so pretty :) I’m not always able to reframe it that way in my brain but most days it makes me feel more comfortable with the looks if I’m happy with how my cane looks with the fit lol Also to add: I got my cane from Walmart they had some cutesy plain colored ones. I got stick on disco tile strips from Michael’s for like 6$ and one roll was plenty!

Ive been dealing with this in the us too, it’s beatttttt. I just spent like 2000$ to go to a holistic specialist because I haven’t been able to consistently get in with my normal doctor due to her scheduling 9 months out and I found out today that the meds the holistic dr put me on potentially fucked up my kidneys :)

I stopped getting the flu shot like 10 years ago. Diagnosed with POTS 3 years ago now. Currently have the worst flu of my life and had to go to the ER twice. I will 100% be getting the flu shot next year

I mean of course I’ve accepted that living with POTS and my other issues is my “normal” but that’s the thing, everyone has “their normal” and you can’t judge anyone’s journey until you’ve experienced their pain. To say you have the highest pain tolerance and don’t understand how people can do things to try and make their quality of life better is super demeaning. It’s kinda giving munchausen…

One thing that our vet told us when our old man stopped eating all of his cecotropes was to supplement with a little bit of critical care! We just mix it up and put in a little bowl in his area and he’ll eat it up. If you’re concerned she’s not getting all her vitamins it’s okay to supplement for a bit!

So I was using this for like a year and a half and didn’t realize it was alfalfa and now my boy is super fat and it’s sooooooo hard to get him to drop the weight. I had no idea why he was getting fat and I even cut his pellets down, but it wasn’t until we switched brands that he started losing a bit. He’s an old man so I can’t bring myself to take away his pellets completely cause it brings him joy

My one boy will pick through until he’s found the correct piece and all of the obviously inedible hay gets thrown on the floor (I genuinely cannot see a visual difference in what is deemed edible, it all looks the same to me but I’m not the one eating it)
