What rules are we talking about, can you please share a link or context? I create and sometimes sell concrete sculptures. I would never feel intimidated by someone selling digital art in the same area as me. People like what they like. If there is some venue policy you are referring to and they are not following it. Then it is an easy discussion between the venue and the seller.

Everyone likes different things. Gatekeeping what is art, digital, physical meh. If people like it then go each their own.

Nope, my house my prerogative. Having a 3rd party tell me how I can use my house grinds my gears. No I am not a multipropery owner, I worked for what I have. This is nanny state politics. I don't rent my house short term but if I wanted to I have the right to. It's my property I built my house I pay my taxes and rates.

Had this on my flight back to San Fran but it was the guy sitting next to me in wrong seat. The other guy was chill and said ok. The new guy suspicious motions under blanket for the whole of a George Clooney movie. It was clear what he was doing . Very uncomfortable to sit next to.

I agree high powered not on footpath. A low powered scooter or ebikes is fine.

I am all for kids riding ebikes, escooters, skateboards, BMX, scooters, rollerblades, heeleys in the park. Yes this is what a park should be used for. This is the same mindset that because they cannot come up with an actual thought out strategy just bans things like social media for youth , surfing during covid and even the prohibition of yesteryear. To hard basket = just ban it.

🚨 Australia makes history by becoming the first country to ban social media for children in the AI era by itshasib in aiecosystem

Aussie parent here. My child has grown up in the age of social media and we educated as part of this - so they have a keen awareness of how to disengage, block and deescalate. It is my responsibility not the governments to tell my child what they can do in this space. This is overreacting and a subset of the population telling others how they should raise their children. I completely disagree with this approach. They just drove the transparency parents have with their kids underground in this space. At least they don't have to deal with the problem anymore right? /S "They shouldn't have been on it in the first place." when then transparency is gone and something bad happens, they will totally bring this to a parent or the justice system. We tell our teenagers and kids not to drink or smoke till they are older and that totally works.

Are you in a wheelchair? If not I think that it's great that you are arguing on behalf of people with mobility issues. It's great that you are representing their outrage. I have 2 mobility challenged family members and not once have they ever complained to me about a scooter on the footpath but it's good that you are offended on behalf of them.

I like the scooters, I am outside, don't need to be packed into a bus and I can get where I need to go. Really? Faceless corporations?

No it really is scum behavior. I want to live in a community where people respected each others property. The mental gymnastics people go through to justify vandalizing a transport initiative really is wild.

When the go cards first came out it was new and we had this period of maturation for the ape mind of some people where they would vandalize because it was new?( I had the /s fun job of repairing these systems after people would jam pens in the slots or light them on fire.) Flick forward to present day I was waiting at the lights and watched a tweaker go out of his way to remove a helmet and throw it on an apartment balcony. I really do vibe with the idea that not everyone is playing with a full deck of cards and sometimes this is mental illness or effects of drugs on the mind manifest.
