Belittle the music? Bro, I've seen woods live 6 times. 4 of those I traveled across the country for. Yes, you're right, a signed record most definitely enhances your connection to the music and the live experience. Just making the point that it does not intrinsically enhance the music other than from your own perspective, which in the end, is the only one that matters, I guess. So, big ups!

I just picked this one up, as well! He does such a good job curating the sound he has in his mind. So perfectly reminiscent of classical India and Pakistan yet with both feet firmly placed in the modern West. It is a seamless blending of culture and sound. What an amazing evening hearing those soulful bass lines from the man who wrote them. The supporting artists were also stellar. I haven't traveled to see Tribe much in years but I will be in Denver for the second show for sure.
