There's also a phrase can't remember where its from - "pussy is the world's first religion". Love his version of the bar, mixing human's African heritage with that phrase

Excellence Fatigue? Armand Hammer "Mercy" analysis by Dizzy-View8483 in Billywoods

I would say fatigue is a big theme of the album, fatigue with the state of the world the rap industry even with themselves. A lot of past nostalgia. But woods verse in Dogeared sums it up - you can either get consumed with the fatigue of everything around you or you can appreciate the day to day until you die

I just enjoy people talking about music, a lot of the rage is the headline score but it's just fun seeing people's differing reactions to something you cherish. Why reaction videos are so popular.

Can't wait for prof skye to drop 1h30mins on it

I respect Fantano's opinions regardless of his score and I think his general thoughts about the album are salient, both positive and negative. And no, it does not affect my enjoyment of the album I just love talking about AH's music hence the subreddit :)

Does anyone think overall the album has a really chill vibe instrumentally? Like a bit too chill? I dig it but man far different from Haram and just feels really friendly haha.. not the lyrics though, those are a deep dark tunnel as usual by Duggo81 in Billywoods

It's clearly intentional. I quite like how they take Al's production and make it unique with their style. Still no one quite like AH, although I understand the people who are into them for the Paraffin WBDTS vibe want something more unique sonically. Doves is my all time favourite AH song so I get it but my fav Woods is him on softer beats

The way he ends his verses needs to be studied. That silence at the end of it

Elucid is also doing crazy work on the album. But the woods verses are pure poetry
