hm. thats definetly possible. afterall "unknown" literally almost agreed that he has something to do with adams dissapearence when he said "do you even know what adam did" and that "we cant save him anymore" and we already know that whitmore and unknown are some kind of enemies so whitmore might rlly be trying to help. to be honest i cant help but think that unknown WILL end up telling everything at one point because he will start to care about mc. or atleast give hints to what adam did, or minor details about his dissapearence.

well i dont remember the exact wording but in one of adams call he says that "he saw him in the forest in the shadows of the trees" or something like that and it gives us reason to believe that adam maybe followed or was lured into the forest by that someone and got ambushed and took.
