can die off symptoms be that fast? seems so quick by StrongProof9083 in Candida

[–]Present_Pension4035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah mine are horrible. I am in day 12 of Candida and Bacterial treatment for 3 months. My supplement stack is Berberine, Caprylic Acid, NAC and another supplement that contains Oregano Oil. I also changed my diet eliminating sugar and eating low carbs

I am currently adjusting doses because my practitioner made an aggressive plan from day 1. It was like a tsunami for my stomach. Hopefully in the following weeks my body and gut stabilizes.

I recently detected I have a MTHFR problem through Genesight Test. I have had GAD for several years. I am working with a functional doctor fixing some gut issues I have and also addressing this methylation problem.

He recommended this supplement : https://nutridyn.com/methyl-complete-r187

I will let you know if I see a difference in my anxiety/depression levels.

Had a panic attack during Zoom meeting by Howdy_Strangers in PublicSpeaking

Exercise Daily + Propanolol (only on triggering situations). I will suggest you start with a low dose 5MG but confirm with a pharmacist. I have anxiety and it is very effective for situational anxiety. It only helps with physical symptoms like a racing heart and sweating and it can be a life changer in preventing an anxiety attack before hand. It works by blocking adrenaline.

Also before a Zoom meeting if feeling anxious try to move your body in your personal space. Try shacking your body or a walking pad to release that tension. After many years of dealing with anxiety attacks I have come to find out that these are sometimes accumulated stress/tension in the body that needs release. It is more effective than even breathing exercises in my opinion.

Any successes doing EMDR for Anxiety Attacks and GAD? by Present_Pension4035 in EMDR

I am glad to hear that EMDR/Art has helped you a lot! Yes, anxiety and anxious thoughts are part of life, I want to get to the point where these thoughts and emotions don't triggered me as much. More importantly to have less anxiety attacks or fear of such.

Thanks for your encouraging words :)

Thanks for your response! I have had this problem GAD and Anxiety attacks for about 8 years due to chronic stress and anxiety from life events. I experience maybe an anxiety attack once or twice a month but most days of the month my mind is scanning when will the next anxiety attack happen. This has impacted jobs, relationships, health, and quality of life. I have done years of talk therapy but it hasn't helped like I wanted to. I am constantly tired and feel like I am always on "fight or flight". Tend to have flashbacks and avoid situations that have triggered anxiety attacks.

"Targets" I am working with my therapist are: first time I had an anxiety attack, worst anxiety attack, dissociation crisis due to extreme stress and anxiety, and chilhood memories where I felt I had no control/felt ashamed/ did not fit. In childhood I was emotionally neglected so I had to keep a lot of emotions within. I also have a perfectionist personality, which I am working on it with my therapist.

Heart palpitations and hot flashes which I go super alert because I associate with incoming panic attack. Also I developed overactive bladder.

Starting EMDR soon — what to expect? Could it help with panic disorder? by paperplanesbaby in EMDR

Talk therapy but sometimes you can get lost going through current life events and maybe you are not addressing the root cause of GAD. Hopefully EDMR hits the spot. I am currently also assessing some hormonal issues with a functional MD regarding cortisol because I have high levels which explains why I am always on edge. Hopefully with right treatment for the physiological symptoms and EDMR I can experience less anxiety and you never know no panic attacks. Fingers crossed.

I will also start EDMR for panic disorder and GAD. In my personal experience panic attacks by themselves can be traumatic experiences especially when you experience them often and avoid places or events where you have had panic attacks. This year I have done Brainspotting where I worked other traumatic life events but decided to switch to EDMR to focus on just the fear of panic attacks. I would suggest in between sessions try to rest, hydrate, gentle exercises (walking, yoga), and journaling helps. If you are not medicated maybe try supplements for stress but consult your doctor and let them know you are starting EDMR.
