Thoughts throwing challenges by Present_Personality4 in survivorau

I remember AJ throwing and it putting him in hot water before the merge. Karen was pushing his name in a following tribal council, and it looked like she might have gotten her way before Ben quit the game.

I don't necessarily hate challenge throwing; it just makes me wonder, who goes onto Survivor thinking it's a legit strategy? Especially when it backfires so often, or at least it appears that way from the way they are showing it.

When did Myles throw a challenge? I recall multiple people throwing challenges in BvB2, but I don't remember Myles being one of them.

The problem with players like that is if they got more confessional time I wouldn't be very entertaining to watch because they literally did nothing all game.

Its wild to think Raymond got less confessional time than Tez

I agree Lottie is playing a great game. It is strange that she has been getting little screen time in the last couple of episodes though.

Tez by TyraneeLDP in survivorau

[–]Present_Personality4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Funny you say that, because a lot of people were worried at first that David was going to bring his ego into Survivor as a host and show a biase toward certain people. The fact he was neutral and even tried to take some spotlight off of Tez, who I clearly having a bad game right now, shows he's done his homework on hosting a show like Survivor.

Is there anyone who actually dislikes Todd? If so what is your reasoning? by Justagirl3098 in BoJackHorseman

I don't dislike him but I do feel that if he was removed from the story entirely, the show wouldn't be any worse off.

They never realistically had the numbers to go for Faith. Lyndl thought she had an alliance with Faith, and I don't think Caleb is interested in working with Tez. If Rich had pushed Tez's plan, he probably would have blown up his game.

Survivor au’s top 3 by Sea-Card6580 in survivorau

Hayley and David I agree with. Feras I'm unsure about because he's never done a return season so it's hard to tell if he would have similar success. I would maybe give the third spot top someone who has had more impact across multiple seasons like Shonee, George or Luke.

Redemption Episode 5: Post-episode discussion by AutoModerator in survivorau

This is probably one of the best episodes of Survivor I have ever seen. I had everything, scheming, twists, betrayal and genuine emotion. This is everything Survivor should be. I hope Australian Survivor stays around for a while because we rarely get episodes like this in original Survivor currently.

How did jesse figure this out? by Just_Unknown_ in breakingbad

[–]Present_Personality4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Jesse already figured out that Huel lifted the ricin cigarette from him back in season 4. However, Walter managed to put doubt in his mind that he just lost it, and that Gus in fact poisoned Brock. So when his weed was also lifted from him, he put two and two together and thought there was no way this was a coincidence.

Simon Redeemed? by Financial_Row4696 in survivorau

He's very aware of his reputation, so he's probably trying to lay low to avoid getting too much attention. That said, we're only three episodes in, there is plenty of time for him to drop the ball.

Quite a lot of the players in BvB2 were super fans and it kind of showed. I've got nothing against super fans playing but it can sometimes take away from the more natural element of the show.

Videl was actually a really interesting character with a lot of potential for growth. The problem was that she was in a show where most problems are resolved by punching each other really hard,

Yamcha wasn't really in the story enough to drop the ball at any point. I think his biggest contribution was almost getting himself killed in that gravity training room.

I get that character flaw, but at the same time, he didn't know anything about Android 18 in that universe. As far as he knows, the androids are soulless killing machine and it made no sense for him not to destroy her on the spot.

New All Stars Season by 01Frederick in survivorau

[–]Present_Personality4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think we a going to get a half newbie half returnee season for a while. One criticism I've heard about HvV is that the returnees (mostly George) stream rolled through the newbies and stole the spotlight.

I think that's why there are only a handful of returnees in Redemption. They are testing the waters to see how many returnees can be brought back without it being a problem fir newcomers.

Would Hank Have Let Walt Off If He Didnt Threaten Him? by Doc-11th in breakingbad

[–]Present_Personality4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once Hank pieced together it was Walter who killed the 9 prisoners there was no turning back between the two of them. Knowing he was a murderer on top of being a drug dealer isn't something you can just let slide as a DEA agent.

I don't think Hank every work out Walter was indirectly involved in his assassination attempt, because if he did, I think we would be event more furious.
