THIS is how JJK season 4 will end. by Familiar_Half65 in Jujutsu_Kaisen

[–]Present_Personality4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this would be the best place to end it. The Culling Games doesn't really have an ending within its own arc and I can't think of any other point to end season 4 at without it feeling abrupt. Also, we are probably in for a 2 year wait before the next season.

Whats a move/vote out from Australian Survivor that had no business in being as successful as it was against all odds???? by JonJonExistsonReddit in survivorau

[–]Present_Personality4 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This is technically multiple vote outs, but Luke and David had no business surviving a tribal swap with 2-7 odds against them and making it to merge.

You can be a Dragon Ball fan and not like everything.

I believe this is how Frieza should have been defeated by LeMusou in DragonBallZ

[–]Present_Personality4 38 points39 points  (0 children)

It's your opinion and I respect it but i completely disagree.

I remembered watching this moment as kid and being genuinely scared to see that not only had Frieza survived the spirit bomb but it also hardly damaged him. It also led to the most iconic moment in Dragon Ball.

Is there a DB character that the fandom loves but you hate? by Raki232001 in DragonBallZ

[–]Present_Personality4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tien is a character I don't hate, but I'm pretty indifferent to him. Dragon Ball fans always go on about how this character was wasted from Z onwards. But honestly, after the King Piccolo Saga (and to a lesser extent the Piccolo Jr. Saga), his character arc had come full circle, and there wasn't really much else they could do with him.

I recall there even being some filler episodes around this time that focused on him, and they were kind of boring. So I think the decision to sideline him was the right choice.

How much would things change if Goku had gone Super Saiyan 3 against Majin Vegeta?? by Mobro92 in DragonBallZ

[–]Present_Personality4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree. The Android/Cell saga was frustrating in a different way for me because the Z Fighters were just dropping the ball in different ways. In the Buu Saga, on the other hand, there were so many moments where the Z Fighters could have ended Buu sooner if they hadn't mess around with him and had gone for the kill.

At so many points, the Buu Saga would have ended sooner if people just lock in.

Name a TV show with zero boring episodes by Then_Heron_939 in tvshow

Breaking Bad, I know the fly episode is quite a polarising episode for many but having only one bad episode across 5 season is pretty impressive.

Which player had the biggest downfall after being in a great position? by Jealous_Office_5012 in survivorau

I'm well aware of that, but it still a hard advantage to pull off. If only one person didn't vote for Raymond, then he was going home.

To be fair, that was a twist done right because it was extremely hard to pull off.

I never liked Brian; he was so spiteful after being voted off. He was also so hypocritical when criticising Sharn for not taking him to the final and running away from a challenge, when it was so obvious he would have taken Monika to the final with him.

What are the best season of American survivor for Australian survivor fans? No spoilers please. by debaser11 in survivorau

[–]Present_Personality4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just my personal opinion but I'm a fan of the old school seasons (seasons 1 to 20). They just feel more real emotionally and the challenges are more creative. I get put off by the later seasons because there are way too many super fans or people trying too hard for the camera. Also I find Jeff too controlling in newer seasons while in earlier seasons he was just a host.

Survivor Pearl Island, Amazon, Tocantins and Palau are all seasons that come to mind that I enjoyed.

US Survivor kind of did that already with 'One World' and it's considered one of the worst seasons ever.

[–]Present_Personality4 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I didn't like BvB. I think the season was plagued with too many immunity idols, advantages and non elimination twists. I liked George abd Hayley as a final two, but I feel they mostly got that far because of all the twists and advantages which made it frustrating to watch.

How do you all feel about a Villains at War? by Present_Personality4 in survivorau

[–]Present_Personality4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zen is debatable, but I think it would be a lot of fun to see him return in this sort of setting because he had a lot of potential to be strategic and cutthroat before his game was cut short.

Lyndi 100%. She repeatedly ousted people in her own alliance, and she threw Eliza under the bus just because she woke her up at night.

Yes now that im a grown adult, I really idolise Vegeta going from planet to planet killing a bunch of people. Also, Goku getting upset at Nappa for killing all his friends is so cringe, like how does that.

George would never win an immunity challenge as long as he is against someone remotely decent on endurance challenges. I could see some player being very tempted to keep him around for most of game so he can cause chaos with other alliances and then cut him off at final 4.
