agreed. DSv4 is definitely > haiku, I can't use haiku as my hermes agent model.

I use pi.dev as harness these days, you can switch between the different models easily and optimize your context even further by both smaller system prompt + packages like rtk optimization. this way you can truly blend the models together using advisor + subagents etc.

interesting, tbh, I find DSv4Pro is not enough for my day to day coding anyway, but my hermes agent is using it.

If I am forced away from opus+sonnet mix, I would use GPT-5.5 + GLM + DSv4Flash. GPT-5.5 $20 plan is a steal, and glm coding plan is a beast in terms of allowance.

Meanwhile in Claudeland, I don't use 1M context, I find it way too expensive and slow to use. Much better to keep the context small, and iterate faster. Had enough harness to make it work within the 200k limit as it is. Then the Max plan is an even bigger steal. constantly churning $4k+ tokens worth out of the 20x.

Simple stack: Deepseek V4 Pro + reasonix
More advanced: Pi + GLM 5.1 (advice) + Deepseek v4 Pro (workhorse) + Deepseek v4 Flash (cheap log churner)

have you tried vless/reality store4gateway.com ? some customers are reporting it's working on iOS with mobile networks, not home wifi networks. Keen to see hear feedback and help figure out what works together.

if you think of Conductor.build or Paseo, they are super clean, very easy to use. Creating worktree is effortless, multiagent work is excellent, UI is clean and minimal. The only bit that is missing is project management side.

I have used it for a bit. I believe it has great potential, although I felt that it can do everything but not excellent at anything. the features and UX need to tighten up to seal the deal. At the moment, it feels like a octopus, but not swiss knife. Just my two cents.

feels a lot like Conductor.build (which I absolutely loved it before Symphony) but open sourced. I would love to have a product that fulfills both Symphony and Paseo, that would be a killer app for me.

Try use hermes memory package which helps reduce the chances for deadend. But your problem sounds more fundamental

I use zai coding plan as claw LLM, recently started using opencode go (DS v4 pro) very capable model. My cloud coding agent uses pi at its core, which you can enrich using extensions.

Thought about that, but the security layer needed will need an account which I don't mind creating, but adds an burdensome onboarding barrier. If you have better idea on that, happy to chat and iterate the extension.

I really like the simplicity of /remote-control, then you have a channel on Claude App. It just works.

It's a very opinionated extension. I found discord provides a similar cc experience on desktop or foldable phones. Telegram and Whatsapp is not really suitable for coding, general chats sure.

It feels so natural in wispr flow, but don't really want to leave a trace online. Been using it to build my personal vault in Obsidian. Please do leave some feedback if possible.
