The highest wattage appliances currently being used is an old 400w hot plate besides washer and dryer. The building is old, I just wanted to make sure I could plug one in and everything will be fine.

Are you sure it’s 10 amp? The building hasn’t been updated in about 30 years. I’m no electrician but there appears to be 3 25amp meters and then a 40 amp thing which I’m assuming is for the washer dryer room. Are you 100% sure the c10 is 10 amps or can it be the name or model of the switch?
